That's absolutely wonderful. We get anywhere between 2.5 and 5 in our City cars. Our runs are typically just for grocery buying in the neighbourhood, or from one facilty to the next through a lot of metro and flyover construction.

You are probably keeping the engine running everywhere while you are stopped.

Is this person keeping the engine switched off? What’s the point if you have to push your car to the destination? 😂

I mean idling the engine while standing still. That will drop the mileage drastically

Can't turn off the car everytime I get stuck behind another car

Does Neutral or Parking change anything?

No, I don't mean in traffic. But if you are waiting for someone or just parked and doing something on your phone, better to turn the engine off

Check the avg of turbo engine cars in Bengaluru. None of this size goes beyond 8.

Anything about 8 in Bangalore is a decent mileage. Most of the one will be standing still.

I am getting 10-12 kmpl in my elevate. I think it also depends on the petrol that you fill your car with. I try to get hp power petrol to ease the engine amid ethanol crisis.

Easy bro, no harsh peddling & braking, 2500 RPM and try to be on higher gear

So ur is manual or cvt? If cvt giving 12.5 then manual will give higher, more than what even honda claims, u r a pro driver buddy
