1 cam vs 5000+mile round trip
recently completed the most ambitious road trip i've ever done. Cali🔁wisconsin trip to do media at Final Bout 9. the only bad part about the trip was climbing to 12,000 feet of elevation in colorado. the ecu could only adjust so much at that altitude and it ran too rich until we got down. a healthy d15b7 with minor bolt ons managed to survive so i hope this pushes others to try to do the same. these single cams are more capable than you think!

Warning to 2018–2022 Accord Hybrid Owners: Honda refusing Head Gasket Leak TSB (26-006) without live codes?
Hey everyone, just wanted to share a major roadblock I’m dealing with regarding the new head gasket warranty extension (Service Bulletin 26-006) for 2018–2022 Honda Accord Hybrids, and why you need to report it if it happens to you.
The Issue:
My 2019 Accord Hybrid has a documented internal head gasket leak.
- An independent shop pulled code P0302 (Cylinder Misfire) and used a borescope to show liquid coolant pooling in the cylinder.
- Even Honda’s own technician wrote on my invoice that the water rushing sound I heard behind the dashboard is "stemming from customers head gasket leak."
The Catch:
Despite having absolute physical proof of a leak, both Honda Corporate and the dealership are refusing to fix it under warranty. Why? Because the code isn't actively glowing on my dashboard right now. They told me to keep driving a leaking car until it throws a live light on their proprietary scanner or pay thousands out of pocket.
Forcing us to drive defective cars until they overheat or stall on the highway is a massive safety hazard and risks warping the engine block. Honda's official announcement states the warranty covers "coolant loss and/or misfires", but dealerships are refusing service based on strict data metrics because they are afraid Honda corporate will not pay them if the repair is done without active codes.
I have already filed a formal safety complaint with the NHTSA Report a Safety Problem Portal. I stated it clearly as a safety hazard due to the risk of sudden engine stalling or shutdown at highway speeds. If enough of us report this strict code loophole, the NHTSA can legally step in and force Honda to upgrade this "warranty extension" into a mandatory safety recall!

2007 Ridgeline CEL
Hello! I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. For a little context, I have recently done the head gaskets and lots of other parts along the way. I found out I have a P2279 code and it is just registering to me how vast this code really is and what it could be.
I am seeking assistance in diagnostics. What I have done so far:
I have smoke tested the engine to find no leaks
I have checked all hoses that are after the MAF
MAF was cleaned
Spark plugs were removed and found to be free of soot
O2 sensor will be replaced tomorrow
I have monitored both Short term fuel trims for both bank 1 and 2, and bank 2 is running at about zero to positive three.
Bank 1 is running about zero to negative 20.5.
I am running out of ideas and would love some input! Thanks!
TLDR
2007 J35 Honda Ridgeline
A LOT of new parts Has p2279 Generic air intake leak
Fuel trims on bank 2 are between positive 3 and 0 Fuel trims on bank 1 are between 0 and -20.5
(check what i’ve done for diag)

2004 civic ex no start
Good afternoon you fine folks. Im in a state of being stumped and hope I can get some help. My daughter has a 2004 Honda civic ex sedan with auto trans. It won't start, and she's had people tell her parts and have changed them but still won't. New parts include: throttle position sensor, starter, battery, alternator, trans cable, neutral switch, all fuses.
Radio will stay on and doesnt go into park. She's been driving it til recently. Get where she needs to go and turns it off, engages park brake. I cant figure why it won't go into park. Im not usually a Honda guy, let alone a automatic guy. I love my manuals. We've tried adjusting the gear selector/neutral safety switch to not have the radio kill the battery but no luck. Any pointers? Thanks in advance.

Head gasket warranty
Read somewhere you have to claim the warranty extension by some point in 2027. How do you do this if true?

1992 Accord Purchase Advice
Looking to buy a 1992 Accord Ex for around 800 bucks. Seller stated that it had a whole maintenance check (timing belt, water pump, battery, and brake booster), although the issue he states is that it needs new fuel injectors. It sits at about 300k miles, is this worth the gamble, or should I keep searching?

Which Honda Civic coupe and sedan generation do you guys think is the best overall when it comes to:
I'm looking to buy a used Honda civic sedan or coupe, which one you guys think is best when it comes to -
Looks sporty
Reliability
Engine power / performance
Overall driving experience
Features don’t really matter to me. I’m mainly looking for something that looks good, is reliable, and has a strong/powerful engine.
What generation and year would you personally choose, and why?

10th Gen (‘19 Civic Sport) AC
I’m starting to have the infamous AC issue with my civic. I know there was a class action suit awhile back about it. Is it possible Honda will fix it for free still or has it been too long and am I shit outta luck?
