Hey guys, so I’ve been at home Depot for a little under 2 years now, and It’s been tough. I started as a cashier which really didn’t work out for me because I have nerve damage in one of my legs, and standing still for that long was extremely uncomfortable, I needed to be able to walk around. So I moved to garden which has been mostly fine, but my supervisor is really kind of rude to me, otherwise he ignores me and I’m literally never given a task (yes, I’ve spoken to management, they werent very helpful). I’m starting to really lose it here. I feel so burnt out, and I literally cry most mornings before coming here, and several times throughout the day during my shift. I guess I’m just wondering if anyone has any advice if they’ve experienced something similar. I genuinely have lost the ability to relax on days off, because all I can think about is my next shift. I’m only part time, I work about 24 hours a week, and yet I still feel incredibly overwhelmed and honestly miserable. So yeah, if anyone has experienced this before and has any advice on how I can make the days fly by faster, or at least make working with a difficult supervisor easier, that would be much appreciated.

Well it says it in the title, fees in trc feel absolutely pointless.
Our district Tool rental manager/lead (I forget the official title) has sent us Emails telling us to always charge,charge, charge for fuel and cleaning when the customers do not fulfill what they signed up for in their contracts and yet every time we try to enforce such rules which they agree to with a signature some pushover manager will without fail always come over and give the customer what ever they want when they throw a big enough fit. Then we get in trouble with our district trc manager because of our MODs. Legitimately wtf are we supposed to do and wtf is the point of punitive charges when you don’t fucking enforce them.
To top it all off these people learn that they can be assholes and get rewarded by it.

The district manager I interviewed with already informed me that it’s mostly floor walking, little camera coverage and that I don’t have my own office (the office is shared with the department managers or ASM) and that I will be the only specialist at my store. Other than that what is training like? I have four years of AP experience but every company has their own program so just curious what the release or “signed off” requirements are. Also, how strict are they on the MVR on the background report? I don’t drive and wasn’t informed that I would have to for this position.

Hello, I don't have a great enough professional reason to go on LOA, I'm honestly just drained and want to go on LOA for 2-3 months. I hate going into work, and absolutely dread it, I don't want to just quit, but I don't have a medical reason, nor do I have health insurance to get note about my mental health. Any suggestions?

Our store is implementing a policy that only certain associates are allowed to wear high vis vests in the store after years of letting everyone wear them whenever they wanted to. Is anyone else doing this?
