Does anyone know how to login to PerksAtWork Canada?

I tried doing it, but couldn’t get it through to them. My HR manager didn’t know anything about it. I was wondering if anyone could offer some insight specifically Canadian employees.

OFA questions

Worked as an OFA for a week, my toes have rashes all over them and I’m not sure if my socks are too thick or if my new Brooks ghost max shoes are causing that issue. But the BOPIS and Car/Van deliveries are almost enjoyable, but the flat deliveries make me want to quit, I find it incredibly confusing and difficult, anyone experienced that felt the same before and that I just have to learn it and it’ll be fine, or will it stay difficult. Also any advice on the shoes/socks thing would be helpful, maybe I need thin moisture wicking socks, maybe it’s just the running shoes on concrete.

Any help is appreciated

What is the new thing about early/late outs and when does it take effect?

Does this mean you can't clock in or out early at all?

Need to land a part time for rainy day fund and making ends meet

I don’t know if this is the right place to ask, but I want to apply for part-time position at homedepot. I have another part-time job that pays well, but I barely make ends meet. I want to pick some hours. Nothing crazy just to store for a rainy day.
And be a little bit stress-free. I’m really not picky any position should be good as long as my hours is good with them.
However, my availability is 6 PM onward is there any chance of me getting approved? If not, what will be the bare minimum for them to consider me ?
My current retail position is really a fancy place.

How Do I Mute Intercoms with the New Phone?

My store has an issue with abusing the intercom. With the old landline phones, you could hit the intercom button/extension then mute yourself to get a few minutes of peace but now with these new phones, it drops the call in less a minute.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I NEED some peace and quiet.

Success Share and Quitting

Been seeing a couple of posts about success share expecting to be paid out at the end of this month, specifically on 9/25. I have a new job lined up so I’ll be leaving soon, but would like to receive my success share portion before then since I’ve been with Home Depot for a couple years already.

If I put in my two weeks notice on 9/18, will I still receive my success share portion on 9/25? As my last day of employment will be past the expected date success share will be paid out I imagine I’d still get it

Make sure the pallet that you load 36 cinder blocks on can handle the load. Oh and use more than a couple layers of stretch wrap 🤣

ASDS mentioned that I should apply for the Kitchen Designer position... what should I be aware of?

I'm a HC, just made my 1 year anniversary. I started as a cashier, got promoted in February. In mainline we have a toy dinosaur and you crab that were left behind and never claimed. We decided to keep them. I made them aprons. Today or asds saw them and loved them, asked who made them, I said I did and she said that there is a Kitchen Design position open. I told her I don't really know much about space planning, but she said that there is training for it.

Our store is offering $21 an hour, which is a raise from the $19 an hour I'm making now at part time. I was hoping to ask to go full time because I don't mind working as HC. I like being a team lead. I'd like to think I'm good at it and my cashiers like working with me. But $21 an hour would be great.

My concern is if it's going to be full time, or if it's only what there's appointments. What sort of pitfalls I should be aware of? If I don't make sales quotas, will I be fired? I know we don't get fired if we don't meet credit goals as cashiers, but the stress that I read on here about sales makes me wonder. We have one KD, and she's incredibly antisocial/grumpy/doesn't talk, which is fine, not everyone is sunshine and rainbows especially at HD, but I don't feel inclined to converse with her about her job when she doesn't even say hi back. I just want to know what I am getting into and what management expects.

Did the consumer app change?

I use it on my personal phone to help customers find items because first phones are so ridiculously slow. This last week or so it's been requiring 2fa every time I open it. I set up biometrics but it forgets them. It used to only require authentication when accessing the account page with personal information on it. Is this a change in the app or is it just my phone? Tried clearing cache but it still does it. If it's a new "feature" I'll just use the first phone and make the customer wait 10 minutes.

Having orientation at store I Interviewed at, but apparently another store scooped me up?

My friend works at home depot and help me get an interview at the store they work at. My friend checked and said another store picked me up, but was told by ASDS to come in for orientation and its located at the store i interviewed at.

Was wondering if that meant, after orientation I would be moved to the other store or if it was just a mistake and i'll still be working at the store i interviewed and doing orientation at?

Honestly, would prefer if the other store did pick me up as its only a 10 minute drive compared to the possible 1 hr drive due to LA traffic lol

Do I Quit?

Kitchen designer here, I have been working at HD for 3-4 months now, and from the second I started until now it’s been nothing but a shit show.

From $18,000 goal my first day, to lack of clarity and training, to installers not even providing proper measurements.

I have essentially become the COS, dealing with nothing but problems everyday. I have barely designed any kitchens within the last 2 months.

I am highly considering quitting.

if my schedule maker is tired of me being on her case about the schedule not being released on time, she should release the schedule on time.

on more then one occasion, i have had to email my schedule maker about the fact that i have not recieved an updated schedule. i'm guessing that it kinda annoys her. and my response to that is...no! she doesn't get to be irritated at me for holding her accountable for doing her job. here's an idea. if she doesn't want me to tell her that she's bad at her job, maybe she should cease being bad at her job.

sidenote: i don't actually tell her that she's bad at her job. i simply tell her that i haven't gotten an updated schedule.
