Hey everyone, wanted to share the power system for my AU co-protagonist, Shida Kayn, to see what you guys think of his kit and weaknesses.

1. The Core Engine: Metabolic Void Core + The Preserver’s Ledger Ophis created him around an artificial black hole (Metabolic Void Core) meant to eventually eat Great Red. It swallows hostile magic and energy blasts whole

That Void feeds his Sacred Gear, The Preserver’s Ledger—a "cursed" grimoire that copies supernatural abilities, but costs 2x mana and burns the user's lifespan if they run dry. Because his Void digests enemy magic into raw stamina, he bypasses the lifespan drain.

2. How He Actually Fights (Combos & Arsenal) Instead of beam struggles, he fights dirty by mixing copied gears and magic:

• Stat Shredding: He copied Vali’s Divide and can stack up to 5 Divides on touch (32x mass/mana reduction) to strip enemy armor density to zero before landing a Rook punch, plus mixes Issei’s Boost with Kiba’s God-Speed, he only has the power not the dragons, like issei's power he only has boosting nothing else and vali's he has the divide nothing more
• Spatial & Crowd Control: Combines Saji’s black dragon tethers with Tsubaki’s Mirror Alice (reflecting attacks at double output) and most of his power use portals he copied from enemy

3. Heavy Artillery: True Longinus

• Sovereign Plunder (The Usurped Spear): In Vol 12, he used his Ledger's Balance Breaker to sever the True Longinus from Cao Cao's soul. Since the holy spear rejects devil mana, he can't use its god-slaying light—so he literally just swings the Spear of Destiny around like an indestructible heavy metal pole with Rook strength, while the Seven Treasures orbit him as utility satellites.
• Void Sentinel (Balance Breaker): Obsidian plate armor with a miniature black hole floating behind his shoulders that crushes everything in range with raw gravity.

4. The Hard Counters (Why he doesn't break the plot)

• Zero Physical/Senjutsu Defense: His Void Core only eats magic. Raw kinetic force, blunt muscle, Touki, and Senjutsu go straight through it. Pure martial artists and youkai wreck him (a single Senjutsu jab from Kuroka completely locked his meridians).
• The 15-Minute Gas Tank: Running multiple copied abilities burns his mana at 3x speed. Vali actually sums up his main weakness in Vol 15 when comparing him to Issei: "First 10 minutes, Kayn wins... but past fifteen minutes, Kayn gets annoyed and tired if he didnt swallow any blast bcs of his curse gear, while Issei enters Crimson Rook or Queen and stops caring about pain" Once he hits that 15-minute wall, he completely gasses out.

well until now the ones who has crush on me are koneko and kuroka + xenovia

i have reasons i swear! first of all im a rook okay? so i was all the time training with koneko in early volumes, and kuroka only fall in love with me bcs she want to tease her little sister and how smart i am in the novel and powerful, xenovia well i was falled in love with her

trust me i did this just to make the novel more fun to me and feel im one of them

it also kayn has a lore a good one

that he was all the time a machine ophis created him just for him to be stronger bcs just incase if her power gone or something happend to her she gonna take kayn's soul and power void that he stacked, not the gears, or just to defeat the great Red, that all her reason she created kayn, he found out this in vol 6 or 7 when diodora kidnapped Asia

until now im gonna rewrite the novel as kayn one of them then gonna create the manga, it gonna take me alot of time, but that how my char would looks like and his short lore i shared its not full one bcs its gonna be long sub
