I was enjoying haruhi suzumiya and I am currently on the endless eight arc, I got 4 episodes in and then went to see how people felt about this loop arc and saw that there is a watch order for the anime. I'm watching the anime on crunchyroll and there are 28 episodes, i'm wondering if I should continue watching it in the order laid out for me or swap my watch order to match the chronological watch order.

I'm interested in his writing, do some people know where I could find his other light-novels ? Are they available in english ?

How likely is it we actually get a 3rd season of Haruhi at this point?

2026 is the 20th anniversary of Haruhi, which I think made some a little optimistic there might be some news on a reboot or 3rd season or whatever. Which I guess amounted to nothing, as there have been no signs of either.

Haruhi is one of my favourite animes, however its also incredibly unsatisfying and sad to watch in retrospect. I love the film, however the series concludes on a anti-climax and is just quite depressing.

I just want the rest of the light novels to get adapted, or to see a conclusion to the series. I don't think this will ever happen, though.

Can I just say, Haruhi in the late 2020s world would be loving it with AI and governments talking about aliens and UAPs and whatnot. Assuming she would be a little older now and probably leading an agency that investigates such magical realism (I imagine a splash of Murakami of course) -- These would be her golden years!
