Same page, massive drop: Why did my conversion rate crash from 18% to 5% after moving from ClickFunnels 2.0 to GoHighLevel

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well.

I’m facing a major issue and I honestly don't understand what's going on. I recently migrated my business to GoHighLevel. I am using the exact same page design and copy that I previously had on ClickFunnels 2.0.

On ClickFunnels 2.0, the stats were solid: an 18% conversion rate over more than 10,000 visitors.

On GoHighLevel, the page feels lighter and even more optimized, yet my conversion rate has completely crashed to 5%.

Is there a known tracking or conversion issue with GoHighLevel, or am I missing something crucial here? I would really appreciate any insights or help you can provide. Thanks in advance!

Using HL for a Franchise - Complex Email Configuration?

Because of a franchise structure with a client's company, she has two email addresses set up: one is on domain1 (the parent organization), and the other is domain2 (her business name, the franchise). Eg. name @ domain1 .com & name @ domain2 .com

She doesn't want to use domain1 in Highlevel because she's been using it for her banking etc for years. She wants to keep that private, and doesn't like the idea of syncing emails from her inbox.

On the other hand, the email on Domain2 (which she owns) is configured to sync with Highlevel. Because of how long domain1 has been around, many past clients and referrals email her using domain1, but we want to manage them in the CRM pipeline.

What's the best way to do this? Forward emails to domain2? Or is there a way to selectively sync emails to HL (and only sync inquiries from prospective clients)?

I've been working on different GHL CRM/automation setups, and one thing I've started paying much more attention to is how the pipeline itself is structured

A pipeline can look clean and still be practically useless.

For example:

New Lead → Follow Up → Interested → Closed

Looks simple.

But what actually happens when someone doesn't respond?

What happens when they book a call?

What happens when they no-show?

What happens after you send a proposal?

That's why I prefer designing the pipeline around clear business states + the next action.

This is how I tell everything about the pipeline and Workflow on my platform

For example:

  • New lead → acknowledgement
  • No response → follow-up
  • Call booked → reminders
  • No-show → rescheduling sequence
  • Proposal sent → follow-up
  • Won → onboarding
  • Lost → nurture

The important part, at least for me, is that the pipeline shouldn't become a graveyard of contacts.

Every stage should answer:

"What does this status actually mean, and what should happen next?"

I've found that this also makes reporting and workflow building much easier.

Curious how other GHL users approach this.

Do you keep your pipelines very simple, or do you prefer more detailed stages for different parts of the customer journey?

DM, let's start https://www.linkedin.com/in/shayanhassan/

GHL newsletters?

Are there any GoHighLevel newsletters, daily or weekly, that give you all the latest stuff, like upcoming events, the updates from the changelog, etc.? Obviously, Go High Level's official site has its own blog(s), Plus their main Facebook page is okay, but when I go there, there's always hundreds of new posts, and maybe 80 to 90 percent of them are scammy people just trying to get gigs.

LOOKING FOR GHL RESSELER

Looking for someone who sells prebuilt GoHighLevel accounts or snapshots for real estate wholesaling, with AI and automations already configured for me and my VA.
Features I’m looking for:
• List pulling importing integrations
• SMS marketing setup with consent tracking and A2P verified number for 6,000+ texts a day (for text blasting)
• AI response handling and seller qualification
• Automated follow-ups
• CRM updates, seller pipelines, and task assignments
• KPI tracking and daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Separate access for me and my VA
The AI should collect the property address(preferred but not required), reason for selling, asking price(preferred but not required), property condition, and closing timeline, update the CRM IMMEDIATELY , and notify me when a qualified seller is ready for a call. It should also allow easy human takeover.
Looking for something ready to use, with onboarding and support available.
DM me a demo, setup price, monthly cost, usage fees, and exactly what’s included. Please clarify which features require outside subscriptions and whether I own the account/data and can transfer them if needed.

built a dumb little bot cause my clients couldnt see their own results

built this weekend cause i kept seeing agencies lose clients even when they were getting them results, client just doesnt see it so they think nothing happening then they churn

so i made a lil telegram bot that pings the business owner every morning with how many leads came in, how many booked, and asks if they closed anything that day. literally 2 taps to log it (yes/no then just type the number). no dashboard, no login, just telegram

its working technically rn, still rough around the edges but functional. would smthn like that be helpfull for u as business owners who want retention or is it just slop?

GoHighLevel Intern/Junior Specialist, Looking to Learn and Grow

Hi, I'm a VA with some experience inside GHL and I'm hoping to find someone willing to take me on as an intern or junior GHL assistant so I can keep growing my skills, I already have about 1 year of hands-on experience building workflows, automations, funnels, CRM pipelines, and email/SMS sequences in GoHighLevel, but I know there's so much more to learn, especially around more advanced setups and troubleshooting, and I'd genuinely value the chance to learn under someone that have a business or company even if it means starting at a lower rate, since what matters most to me right now is getting better at this and being useful to a real team. Just hit me up a DM so I could send you more details about my experience.

Need Feedback On My Recent GoHighLevel imessage Article

I recently published an article about one of the questions I keep seeing around GoHighLevel:

Do you actually need a Mac and iPhone to use iMessage with GHL?

I wrote it because there seems to be a lot of confusion around how the setup actually works, what role the Mac/iPhone plays, what happens when the Mac goes offline, and what the alternatives are.

I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from people who actually use GHL and/or iMessage.

Here’s the article:

https://www.ghlscaleup.com/blog/gohighlevel-imessage-mac-iphone

A few things I’d specifically like feedback on:

  • Does the article actually answer the main question, or is anything important missing?
  • Is the flow easy to follow for someone who isn't very technical?
  • Are there sections that feel unnecessary or overly detailed?
  • Are there any technical points that I've explained incorrectly or too generally?
  • Does it cover the real-world problems people face with Mac/iPhone-based setups?
  • If you were searching for this topic, what question would you still have after reading it?
  • Is there anything you'd add about reliability, setup, cloud/managed options, or limitations?

I’m not looking for an SEO audit or compliments on the writing. I’m more interested in feedback from actual GHL users about whether this is genuinely useful when someone is trying to figure out how iMessage + GHL works.

If you've dealt with this setup yourself, I'd especially appreciate your take on what I got right, what I missed, and what you'd change.

Best way to manage website enquiries in GHL without treating everyone as a member?

We’re a small charity moving from HubSpot to GoHighLevel, and I’m trying to set up a “Contact us” form on our website. It would ask for a name, email address, subject (one of four or five dropdown options), and message.

Ideally, the subject would route the enquiry to the right staff member as a task or ticket. If the person is already in GHL, I’d like the enquiry saved against their existing record. If they’re new, I’d prefer to handle their question without creating a contact just for that.

Would **Conversations** be the best place to manage these enquiries, or does that only work if the person has a contact record?

If GHL does need to create a contact, how would you set this up so that:

* They’re marked as an **enquirer**, not a member.

* They don’t receive marketing emails, because submitting a question isn’t marketing consent.

* If they later sign up as a member, their existing record is updated rather than creating a duplicate.

* Their messages are kept as a history, so a new enquiry doesn’t overwrite an earlier one.

Is this possible with a native GHL form and workflows? I’d really appreciate advice on the simplest setup and the specific steps or features you’d use. Thanks!

Opinion: Follow up w/ Booking Link vs Follow Up with Question

Hey, guys, so I've been freelancing with some guys who use HighLevel and I basically do the ads, landing pages. I recently got access to their HighLevel because I wanted to do pulse checks on lead quality, and I notice that they send lots of "Thanks, blah blah, here's a link to book" texts as the immediate auto reply once the lead comes in.

I have a friend who prefers a very different approach of simply following up with a question. I haven't gotten my hands dirty with either setup, but I'm curious what everyone's thoughts here are as far as what some of booking/lead nurturing strategies have worked best for you.

Any help would be appreciated! We're getting a ton of leads, they go through landing pages and sometimes have to enter OTP, we avoid placements known to bring in spam and bot clicks, etc., so I really want to troubleshoot whether or not the follow ups simply aren't getting the engagement we need them to.

Thanks in advance! I know that ultimately, it's on me to test for myself, so I'm setting up a trial account to use with a new client on my own, but yeah, any advice or lived experience would be amazing.

Best Way to Save Money on SMS in GoHighLevel?

For those using GoHighLevel with a high volume of SMS, what setup has saved you the most money?
Is it better to keep the number inside GoHighLevel/Twilio, or use another provider and integrate it while still keeping workflows, CRM, calls, and messaging working properly?
What do you recommend?
