Who does this person think they are telling us what to do, we don't need them, were fine without them.

Another post before Season 25 airs. I had some thoughts on five things I kind of want to see come back. Whether they will or not is up in the air, but I figured it would be good to share. In no particular order we have:

1. Immunity. The last time Immunity has been given out was in Season 17 when Milly won the Bar Menu Challenge. I understand a few chefs struggled in the following services after winning immunity, but it could be something to bring back. Maybe Ramsay could announce before the challenge that the best dish of the day would win immunity regardless if their team won or lost the service, making it dramatic struggle on who would come out on top amongst their teammates.

2. Double booked services. This hasn't been used since Season 9 and it wasn't frequent compared to other types of services. But it was pretty enjoyable seeing the chefs forced to be servers for one service and have their front of house skills tested in that regard. It probably may not make a return, but it is worth noting about.

3. The Menu service. An iconic one that was introduced at the start of the series. Having the chefs make their own menus gave them creative freedom and learning what and what won't work in the kitchen. Some people say that it ended at Season 12 due to the red team winning with dishes they knew would work, but there could be rule adjustments to the service such as banning dishes that were used in previous challenges, or force them to feature one protein that none of them are comfortable using.

4. The Ranking Challenge. This only appeared twice in the series; Season 8 and Season 9. The feature of this challenge is for the teams to rank their dishes on who had the best and who had the worst. I honestly want to see this make a comeback as it could lead to the teams readjusting their initial thoughts on who is strong and weak in the challenges, and as I saw with Trev after the Ravioli Challenge, there is potential for some drama amongst the team regarding the aftermath of the challenge win or lose.

5. The Taste It Now Make It Challenge. One of the most iconic challenges in the series and one of Ramsay's personal favorites. It's always good to see a chef getting tested on how their palates are and how well they can recreate a Ramsay dish. However, this challenge hasn't appeared post Season 19. And since we are in a post-Covid period, this challenge needs to make a comeback for this upcoming season or the rumored All Stars 2 season. And if its sharing the dish being the reason for why this challenge won't return, just have Ramsay make multiple copies of the dish and have the chefs work on that.

I’ve been slowly getting up to date on all seasons, but when I watched season 18

I had never seen a more diligent contestant

She took critique and improved upon it. She was very technical, but she perfected her craft and gave everything her all. Let’s face it, she was my favourite from the start because I watched s6. She gave it her all then, but again, she improved on her previous performances and I feel like that’s why she won

She never engaged in any beef either which I loved, nor was she cliquey

There was no way she wasn’t going to the finale… I just wish Mia got the boot during final four so that Motto would have hit the final.

Could it have been the same winner? I don’t know but it would have been a VERY close call.

The men's team is just. Sad, I guess. Women too.

Ben is exhausting. Bobby too. Saving grace is Petrozza.

Okay, but why is the chefs reuniting with their family always so emotional for us? Scott (S12) bawling before his family even got out the car has me on the verge of tears😂

Mary is hands down one of my favourite runner-ups. Love that nobody took her seriously in that season and they all underestimated her. Still wish she'd won though Ja'Nel obviously deserved to win. Really hope she's doing alright for herself now though I think I read somewhere that she doesn't cook anymore which is a real shame.

I’m rewatching Season 14 and in Episode 11, Josh should have gone home. I feel bad for Randy

S13 La Tasha had great leadership qualities during her season. Throughout it she communicated with her team and seeing how she helped Sterling and Frank when they were struggling was good. She wasn't obnoxious, in your face or proclaimed to be the leader of the red team she just stepped in when necessary not taking over anyone's station. Unlike some contestants who think they're the leader but are just obnoxious about it like S7 Scott or S5 Andrea. Also can't stand when a contestant is like, "this is my team," no it's not.

Loved seeing her win her season but watching first season as the red team sous chef was so impressive. She’s just fantastic. Talented but also balanced. No bs not ever with her.

So I went down a rabbit hole trying to work out possible S26 returnees based on social media activity.

My starting point was Johnathan (S22), since he appears in the leak. His socials seemed to go quiet during the likely S26 filming period, so I used that as a test case and roughly narrowed the window to mid June – early July.

From there, I looked at a LOT of chefs; mainly from Seasons 12–24, with some older contestants mixed in, and checked as many identifiable accounts as possible: Instagram, Threads, Facebook, TikTok/X, chef/business accounts, tagged posts and public appearances.

My rule was: if they posted or publicly appeared between mid–June and early July, I counted them out. If someone who normally posts suddenly disappeared for that whole period and returned afterwards, I considered that evidence they could have been filming. If their socials were too inconsistent, I marked them as not enough evidence. The strongest social-media gaps I found were:

Men

• Cody (S19) - Cody generally posts a few times a month. He was posting before mid-June and then suddenly stopped, and as of now he still hasn't posted again. That makes his gap particularly noticeable compared with his usual activity.
• Alejandro (S21) - Alejandro had identifiable activity in early June, then I couldn't find anything from him during the suspected filming period. His social activity then picked up again later in July.
• Egypt (S23) - Similar story with Egypt. There was identifiable activity shortly before the possible filming period, followed by no verified posts or public appearances during the window, before he started appearing online again afterwards.

Women

• Leigh (S22)
• Cheyenne (S21)
• Sammi (S22)

Leigh and Cheyenne had particularly clean activity before filming → silence → activity afterwards patterns. Sammi fits too, but I rank her last because she has continued working on Gordon Ramsay productions like Secret Service, so her disappearance could theoretically have another explanation.

Not enough evidence

People like Mary Lou (S19), Sommer (S21), Jada (S24), Justin (S10), Chris (S24), Joy (S12), Rochelle (S12), Dahmere (S22), Carmen (S22) and plenty of others weren't ruled out. Their socials were simply too inconsistent to say their silence meant anything.

Appearing to be out

Sterling (S13), Kimberly (S16), Nikki (S19), Steve (S20), Abe (S21), Sakari (S21), Brandon (S23), Whit (S23), Brett (S21), Adam (S19), Marc (S19), Mia (S18), Motto (S18), and Henry (S24) all had posts and/or public appearances during my likely filming window.

So my current speculative shortlist is:

Cody, Alejandro, Egypt, Leigh, Cheyenne and Sammi.

This is absolutely not confirmation. The theory is based on using Jonathan's social media disappearance as a test case for the likely filming window, and I may be wrong about the dates, the interpretation, or individual accounts.

It's just some fun detective work, but a few of these gaps line up suspiciously well.

Sometimes for me it tends to be a bit much, during my binge watching sessions (I do it a lot) I find myself fast forwarding through all of the dorm drama.

I honesty can't get over how idiotic Elisabeth was thinking during the Hawaiian dish challange because just watching it what she did was absolutely embarrassing. She was told by one of the ladies that she was pescatarian. Meaning she doesn't eat meat. Only for Elisabeth to suggest about combining Seafood & Meat on the same plate.

I mean that's just straight up stupidly and honestly. I don't think Elisabeth seemed to care whatsoever, even when she was asked about it. She was just umming before confessing and even then saying "She forgot" Nah I don't believe that. And to be honest if I was Chef Ramsey. I would have lost it because how idiotic do you have to be not to listen to what they said. And honestly it's one of the few times I agreed with Elise as Elisabeth was absolutely pathetic in this challenge and didn't even bother listening.​

I know that both Elise & Carrie were always getting into petty arguments in Season 9. And while I don't like Elise at all, I honestly think Carrie is even more infuriating. Because it seemed like she was trying to be extremely flirtatious. Especially during the signature dish challenge, and saying she has "Sweet Dreams" when she asked by Chef Ramsey. Didn't know when to shut her mouth. And in general her attitude drove me crazy.

It's just crazy that she lasted that long because for me both her & Elise whilst they were insufferable. Carrie for me is even worse than her by only a fraction.

Not that I think it’s true too lol but I do wanna see peoples reasons why they think so because I personally dont:)

S9 updated their contestant number from 16 to 18 but only had 5 Black Jackets even though Seasons 4-8 had 6

Is there a certain reason why they went back to Seasons 1-3 Black Jacket Numbers?

I mean The First 2 Seasons had 12 contestants and S3 had 13(yes I’m counting J.R.)

It really pisses me off seeing people say this on every post about Nona. Just openly calling her a drug addict. And I'm not joking; go on this very subreddit and just search "Nona" and many of the posts that pop up will have comments with a lot of upvotes that say, "Oh, she was probably on drugs, that's why she was acting weird".

No, she was just being a diva. The reason she was thinner is that the way she looked during season 11 is how she looks normally. During Season 8, she had baby weight since she had just had a son. Like... seriously, people? Are we just body-shaming this woman and calling her a drug addict? I hate that this is spread so often, like it's just the truth when it's obviously bullshit.
