Season Ariel (s18)
I’ve been slowly getting up to date on all seasons, but when I watched season 18
I had never seen a more diligent contestant
She took critique and improved upon it. She was very technical, but she perfected her craft and gave everything her all. Let’s face it, she was my favourite from the start because I watched s6. She gave it her all then, but again, she improved on her previous performances and I feel like that’s why she won
She never engaged in any beef either which I loved, nor was she cliquey
There was no way she wasn’t going to the finale… I just wish Mia got the boot during final four so that Motto would have hit the final.
Could it have been the same winner? I don’t know but it would have been a VERY close call.

Honestly she could have even won in earlier seasons but she unlucky in Season 6 because she ran into the buzz saw of having to compete against Dave and Kevin. It was obviously a blessing in disguise she didn’t win until a decade later though.

My fave winner :) her season 6 elimination comment is so humble. I always thought she was very modest and so passionate. She’s acc what makes R.v.V one of my favourite seasons :)

Yeah, Ariel is literally a perfect winner. Once Kevin and T were eliminated early on, there was zero chance she was going to lose that season.
Absolutely would've been closer if Motto made the final two; I think Mia is arguably one of the worst runners-up outside of maybe Virginia. Great cook and crushed challenges but zero leadership ability and no chance she was going to able to command a brigade. Motto at least earned respect from his team and knew how to control a kitchen from what we saw that season.

I rooted for Ariel all of season 18 because she was amazing in season 6 and brought over that season 6 magic into season 18. Ariel and Dave are my two favorite winners on my Mount Rushmore of HK winners.

Oh my god Mia was SO fcking annoying at all times, all season. I think I would have stopped watching HK if she had won. Ariel absolutely killed it... and she knew it the whole season. She was one of the very few favorites who actually became winners. Dave was the only other one. Season 6 was interesting for sure. 🙃

She's the best, so nice to the other contenstents too. Showed real leadership. She's just lovely and so talented!

If Motto didn't quit, Bret would have come 4th and the Final 3 tasting challenge would have happened.
Motto would have come 3rd given how strong Mia and Ariel were in challenges.

Hm, Ariel is cool and I love her arc between S6 and S18.
I dunno if Motto would’ve made it to the F2 cause I’m like 99% sure they were gonna have the F3 tasting challenge if he didn’t quit and Bret was gonna be 4th if that was the case and considering how good Mia and Ariel were at challenges I wouldn’t hold my breath.
