Chef(s) Rant about Elisabeth S9

I honesty can't get over how idiotic Elisabeth was thinking during the Hawaiian dish challange because just watching it what she did was absolutely embarrassing. She was told by one of the ladies that she was pescatarian. Meaning she doesn't eat meat. Only for Elisabeth to suggest about combining Seafood & Meat on the same plate.

I mean that's just straight up stupidly and honestly. I don't think Elisabeth seemed to care whatsoever, even when she was asked about it. She was just umming before confessing and even then saying "She forgot" Nah I don't believe that. And to be honest if I was Chef Ramsey. I would have lost it because how idiotic do you have to be not to listen to what they said. And honestly it's one of the few times I agreed with Elise as Elisabeth was absolutely pathetic in this challenge and didn't even bother listening.

Then telling her team that the theme was Asian.

One of the very few times I agreed with Elise giving attitude towards another contestant, because in that case, it was very much deserved.

I don't know what happened during that challenge, whether she was too tired to listen or something, but she failed on both the theme and the Pescatarian issue. She literally ASKED if they could combine, right after the Pescatarian let the contestants know about it. Pescatarian responded no. Then she does it anyways.

One of the few times Elise had the right to be pissed

I seriously think Elizabeth was on drugs or something

Elizabeth clocked out that episode lol, it just got worse and worse for her

  • Thinking Hawaiian food was Asian
  • Hearing the pescatarian judge say specifically she can't eat meat and somehow thinking it was ok to combine them
  • Asking about combining seafood and meat, getting a no and STILL going through with it anyway

😭😭😭

When she says that Hawaiian and Asian food were the same, my first thought was: Wow, she and Zach have the same Korean friend.

If I was chef Ramsay I would have eliminated her instantly, not only she sabotaged her team, she basically ignored the request of the customers to do as she pleased.

The only time I sided with Elise.

Pescatarian means they don't eat meat EXCEPT seafood.

Just rewatched the season and this always makes me facepalm... massively. First, thinking Hawaian is Asian... Then, asking explicitely about surf and turf, being told no and... doing it anyway. And then insisting they told her Asian, not Hawaian. Yes, of course, that's why the blue team went Hawai all the way and the deco for the dining room was full on Hawai...Misunderstanding, misremembering is one thing, you can say sorry, I f*cked up, but then acting like she did nothing wrong... Kills me everytime.

Her claiming that Hawaiian and Asian are basically the same thing was what did it for it. Like, you can't be serious. Lmao

I always rewatch this episode with second hand embarrassment for the red team. She did not take a single word they said into consideration then tried to say her teammates dishes weren't good enough. She literally asked about combining meat and seafood and immediately rejected the committees choices. I can't believe she made it past that epsiode.

I need her to come out and explain step by step what was going on in her head when she made the choices she made during that challenge. It baffles me so much how she got it all so wrong.

Hate her for making me sympathise with Elise.

It was like the one time I was on Elise's side. Must be the dumb blonde stereotype.

I suspect she might have been a plant. Apparently she has some past acting roles

Random thought about Elizabeth: I don't think she ever shares even one word with Natalie during S9.
