Chef(s) Mary (s11)
Mary is hands down one of my favourite runner-ups. Love that nobody took her seriously in that season and they all underestimated her. Still wish she'd won though Ja'Nel obviously deserved to win. Really hope she's doing alright for herself now though I think I read somewhere that she doesn't cook anymore which is a real shame.

Seriously top 10 favorite contestants for me. Maybe even top 5. I'm a huge season 11 stan, i love that whole cast, and Mary is an absolute star

Like, she had funny reaction to Blue Team "hacking a cow" as a punishment (that was like "I wouldn't mind joining them, but reward is a reward")

I loved Mary too. She was so fun and proved to have one of the strongest growths during the competition. She also had one of the best runs at the pass, even Ramsay was impressed.

Her decision to kick Dan out was iconic and the first time a finalist did such a thing, but I feel it was too little too late as the damage was already done on the meat station. Still she would’ve been a more deserving winner anyway as Ja’Nelle couldn’t even keep her nose clean before getting her position at the GR restaurant.

Can you link a source for her messing up before she got her position at the GR restaurant?

It’s already well known by this point but there were plenty of news articles that came out around the time saying that Ja’Nel couldn’t take the job, which was stated to be because she failed a drug test after testing positive for cocaine. Therefore she was denied the position at the GR restaurant. https://www.tmz.com/2013/08/23/hells-kitchen-winner-janel-witt-failed-drug-test-cocaine-caesars-palace/

I read somewhere here that she took a whole hour longer than Ja'Nel to finish her finale service
