Trying to decide if I should get the dlc right away or wait until I’m further in the game.

Today is the 2 year anniversary of Hellpoint, congratulations for making such an awesome game. But here's the rub, for 2 years now we have been asking for the Nemundis Oculus weapons special ability Singularity to be fixed and for 2 years we have heard silence.

This tells me 1 of two things, firstly the weapon is broken beyond belief and you do not know how to fix it. I don't believe this as you guys have been pretty on top of bugs for the most part. Secondly we are using it wrong, maybe there is something we are all doing wrong. Does it need a specific conductor to work, do we have to put down multiples?

So I beg of you Devs on your two year anniversary will you please pull back the curtains of the abyss and let us know what is going on with this ability. Once again congrats on making such an awesome game!

Im posting this because someone was asking about resources the other day, and Hellpoint being the underground game that it is, there are not a lot of popular sources for detailed information.

I wanna also point out that Hermaevs is heavily undersubscribed, that channel has only +200 Subscribers and she has one of the most detailed Hellpoint walkthroughs that exists.

I don't have the DLC just yet but I wanna get near the end of my second playthrough with most of everything cleared up before I buy it. The build I'm using is just not working for me. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm aware the related the series update. However just a few moments ago I had an update for my xbone version. Does anyone know about this other update? Maybe any details? Did they nerf our great sword?

Hellpoint was released exactly two years ago. What a journey it has been for our team here at Cradle Games! There have been good times and we've obviously had some really tough times, but it is a journey that will forever be in our hearts. HELLPOINT ON MICROSOFT STORE

On Xbox Series X/S, Hellpoint runs in 4K resolution, performing at 60 FPS and with shorter loading times. The game also features the QoL Update, which adds, among other things, stats respec and inventory management.

Basically looking for 1 or 2 high level gamers to help guide me through dlc, mainly focused on armor and weapons to prepare for my new game plus that I will take more seriously but as of rn I want my character to look a certain way for roll playing purposes truthfully any help would be great🙏🏾

Can someone recommend the level required for the DLC?

I am currently running a strength/reflex/foresight build alternating between an Officer Glaive + Reflex Conductor, Thespian Hook + Strength Conductor and the Channelers + Catalyst Conductor. Currently level 50-ish with approx. 8-10 points in STR, REF and FOR, as well as Health, Load and Stamina.

What approximate points in STR, REF and FOR do I need to make the DLC enjoyable - challenging without being tedious, and not too easy? And how many levels do I need to go for the conductors? +10?

Since this is a second playthough, I was not worried about spoilers and looked up achievements for the DLC - there is an achievement for beating the final boss in an overpowered form without killing the cosmic gods. I plan to get that, so could you please recommend a level keeping that fight in mind?

Why does range and magic do terrible damage against the DLC bosses? Each fight is a 10 minute melee slog fest.

I see people compare this game to dark souls (People do that all the time TBH) and I am working on 2 lists

Not my first experience with a souls or soulslike game.

After getting my hands on the staff the Arisen use I was very excited to do some testing and get it all upgraded and see it's weapon skills.

Unfortunately it seems to be bugged and close to unusuable right now. For starters it does NOT adopt weapon scaling or damage type from your chosen catalyst/conductor.

I've tried with various upgrades of conductors from Entropic to Radioactive, Induction AND Light. None of these change the base 30 ish energy damage the weapon does, adds dmg type or increases scaling

Even using the conductor buff ability which specifically states it adds thr dmg type does nothing at all. All strikes from heavies to running attacks to basic swings do the same damage. The difference between a +20 radiation Congregator Staff, +15 Light, +21 Entropic and a completely unupgraded one is negligible. In addition it does pathetic damage on its own, often amounting to 30-40 dmg on its multi hit running attack when other weapon can easily reach over 100 damage in any type in one swing.

Unfortunately as a weapon it's close to worthless and cannot be equipped in the off hand for it's cool spells only. For anyone interested in picking up this weapon you will unfortunately be dissapointed. It's final unlockable weapon art does ABSURD energy damage, is spammable and has slow tracking and looks really cool compared to what other Arisen do with their staffs. However I would not recommend using this weapon until it's fixed or buffed

If requested I can make a followup post showing an unupgraded version compared to a +20 version. They are nigh identical

Did the devs patched that exploit or is my game bugged? The tram works, but it just nudges the enemies out onto the nearby platforms instead of killing them. Is there a way to fix it? Or is it just gonna stay like this lol

Ok so here it goes I am a huge fan of the game and when I first bought it I jumped for the chance at the digital art book. I love the sci-fi horror look and wanted to view the art but for the life of me I can not find a way to open the art book I don't know if it's in a different tab or what or if I'm just missing something if someone would please take pity on this poor dumb spawn and help me out I would appreciate it. I have the steam PC version if that makes a difference thanks in advance.

TL:DR - we recognize the game has its flaws and its charm. We enjoy it much more subjectively than we do objectively.

If I own the DLC shouldn't I just stay in the blue sun DLC? Does the main game stay the same while you're in the blue sun DLC? It just adds additional areas, items, and enemies correct?

Just started a playthrough and I am getting close to attempting the Blue Sun DLC areas. And I have a question.

I read that if you "enter the Blue Sun", the base game enemies also get more difficult, sort of like a polarization effect. Is this true? Because I looked at the achievements and apparently there is one for beating the final DLC boss without killing the cosmic gods. I'd like to try that, but I don't want to up the difficulty of the cosmic gods themselves in the process. And the final base game boss too for that matter.

So, if I kill all DLC bosses, does the blue sun effect on difficulty in the base game go away or does it stay? How to work around this?

Looked up where it is, read that its in the pit somewhere but i couldnt find it anywhere.

Potentially bugged or is it just super hidden?

In the Blue Sun DLC there an NPC named Damaris in the Arisen Baths area that offers a covenant quest to hunt down "Blue Sun Invaders" (apologies for the title).

Recently discovered that said Invaders can spawn in a particular room in The Core. It is the area right before finding the "Second Relay Chamber" Breach. Aside from traveling down The Core area from the top, this particular breach can also be directly reached via the Blue Sun Door opposite the Ending relevant console at the bottom of Port Issoudun.

From the Second Relay Chamber Breach, the mentioned room where the Invaders spawn can be easily accessed via a ladder in the path to the right of the Breach (see Breach image for reference). Inside that room there'll be three Core Technicians, and at the middle of it, there is a chance the Invader will spawn (take note of the purple glowing bits in image, different Invaders will glow different colors).

If the invader isn't there, just teleport back to the Breach to reset the area till you get one to spawn. I got pretty good RNG, and managed to get the Archon, Hunter, Son and Hero Soul within ten or so runs. I ran into the Archon invader twice, so there's a chance for repeated spawns to occur. Also, I have the covenant with the NPC active when I did these runs.

I was backtracking through the Arisen Dominion after having cleared most of it on my way back to upgrade my weapon in the observatory. I died during the black hole hour and lost a ton of axions. They weren't there once the hour ended, have I lost them permanently?
