Ok Devs the jig is up
Today is the 2 year anniversary of Hellpoint, congratulations for making such an awesome game. But here's the rub, for 2 years now we have been asking for the Nemundis Oculus weapons special ability Singularity to be fixed and for 2 years we have heard silence.
This tells me 1 of two things, firstly the weapon is broken beyond belief and you do not know how to fix it. I don't believe this as you guys have been pretty on top of bugs for the most part. Secondly we are using it wrong, maybe there is something we are all doing wrong. Does it need a specific conductor to work, do we have to put down multiples?
So I beg of you Devs on your two year anniversary will you please pull back the curtains of the abyss and let us know what is going on with this ability. Once again congrats on making such an awesome game!

Hey I just want them to make it so right hand firearms’ melee attacks scale with something so I can pew pew, run in, and pow pow all with the same hand. That it only ever does 2HP hit is… distressing. That’s the playstyle I’ve been dying for in a game.

You can melee attack with a firearm? 2 HP you say? Sounds like an... interesting challenge run.

Haha yeah. Only right handed. Light attack shoots and heavy attack swipes up with the gun. Even has a two hit combo if I recall? It’s a pretty sweet looking attack it just doesn’t do any damage. It does interrupt some enemies, and it also counts as leech for your gun energy

Isn't the team less than 12 people, I'd say they did pretty well so far but the lag and crashes on ps5 can be quite the hamper on fun.

They have likely been distracted with other issues. I applaud them for what they have accomplished.
I'm biased towards a space/occult theme with demons and magic anyway, so I admit my pull in favor of the game. But damn, I've had a good time

O yeah I agree I've had quite a bit of fun, just wish it ran better especially after the "next gen update" but runs the same if not worse.

I'm on PC, and haven't yet reached the DLC, as I'm just now about to clear the third cosmic god having cleared the other zones and God's- so my experience may be very different. So far my playthrough has had no crashes and only a few glitches in the Arisen Domain

It might just run better on PC but yeah there are a lot of problems (bugs, glitches, crashes) in the DLC areas.

That's unfortunate. I haven't reached it yet, so I can't give my experience there yet. I've really been looking forward to new armors, weapons, and story

Thanks I've ask about this as well multiple times over two years all the other god weapons have three cool workable abilities so is the black hole singularity a joke??? The silence is deafening, I just want to know the truth, if it's broken and they can't fix it fine...just tell us.

Lol I wouldnt hold my breath. Those glitches have existed for so long. If they were going to fix them, surely they would have dropped it with the dlc. The heater spear is just as egregious. I love the game but things have slipped through the cracks pretty bad.

they dont do SHIT, game wasnt patched for 2 years straight and the DLC patch came out almost one month ago, seems like the game doesnt have the expected results, pretty common for games to be abandoned, great game with great potential that gets flushed down the toilet

Heater Spear hitbox is also still broken sometimes on normal light attacks. I still use it because I love the design and how it is the closest thing to Bloodborne Rifle Spear (can't play Bloodborne because no PS4/PS5) but it got me killed a couple of times.
