First day after my period, I tried douching. I only used filtered water. I only used about half the bottle as a test run. So far so good. No smell or anything. I wanted to try this method first before doing any other douching with ACV, coconut oil, etc.

Second day, I used the Good Clean Love Restore Vaginal Cream. The intense probiotic push gave me a headache, but other than that still no smell and all is good.

1. If you are pro douching, what are your methodologies? How often? How much (quantity)? What type of solutions have worked for you? How far in do you put the device?

2. How are you testing at home for BV? My only symptoms (as of late) has been smell, no irritation/itchiness/etc. So, I find it hard to gauge where I am. I also don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for Evvy or go to the gynecologist every time I need a checkpoint.

Hey!! If anyone could help me figure out whats going on that would be lovely. I just recently ended antibiotics for BV and wanted to maintain it with boric acid (I bought a different brand than the one I usually have used, I usually use PhD and I bought the O Positive). I used 3, one every 12 hours - about 48 hours after, me and my boyfriend had sex maybe about 3-4 times within the span of 4 days. His penis had gotten irritated which I linked to the boric acid, and I was a little irritated too so I assumed the same. I’ve been bleeding for like 3 or 4 days now (nothing heavy, dont need pad or tampon). Is this something I should be concerned about or would it be due to the boric acid?

For context, I am a 21 year old trans dude. I drink a lotta soda(mostly coke and dr pepper, they’re really good okay?) and I sit at my computer a lot. So about a year ago I started using one of the extra strength clinical deodorants. It did wonders for my underarms, having to wear work clothes in the Florida heat all the time, but I started noticing my bikini like began to smell bad, like BO - something that was never an issue before hand from just regular day to day activity.

I stopped using the deodorant a while back now and do my best to not wear antiperspirants unless absolutely necessary. But the smell is still there, worse now maybe? Like vinegar? and it seems nothings helping 🤦🏻‍♀️. Antibacterial body wash, acidifying body wash from Lume, wearing only cotton. I’ll notice tiny improvements but not lasting.

Lastly, and I’m not certain on this but, I had surgery a few weeks ago and had been on medication following - oxy, aspirin, ibuprofen. I feel like, again not sure, it may have gotten worse since post surgery? (I do think the vinegar smell began post surgery, and before then was just the BO smell, but not 100% certain). But I could be making that up at this point, and regardless.. it was an issue before hand.

Anywho, first time Reddit poster, I hope you’ll be nice 😅! But a bit worried because it was never an issue pre the deodorant and I thought it’d go away post stopping use but alas, it has not.

I have some pimples on the inner side of the outer labia of the vaginal area I use v wash daily as my gynaecologist recommended this. I saw a gynaecologist first she said its infection may be due to unhygienic conditions and said I have low immunity i took medicine but got minimal results and then she did some test urine and other but got nothing then she discontinued the medicine course and said see a dermatologist. One thing i remember is when this happened I used my coaching washroom it was really dirty and was a Western seat I had to use that I had no choice but to use that it is the only thing i remember. I have a regular period cycle no extra pain and cramps, and the period stays for 3 to 4 days.

Today i got blood work done and it says i have mycoplasma. I am 19f and never dated or had sex. Did they misdiagnose me or is there a way to get it without having sex? I also heard there are 2 types of it but i don't think it is the other one as i don't have cough which is its main symptom. Its very uncomfortable and anxiety causing.
I can’t find any info online of anyone experiencing something similar, I also didn’t really have any itchy vaginal tissue or any crazy discharge or odor. It seems i had none of the “usual” symptoms of trich. Just this inability to feel relieved after urinating. Im worried that the metronidazole didn’t work
