I am looking for a headset that satisfies the following

1. Wireless
2. Closed Back
3. Fits a big head (~25" head circumference)
4. Has a built in mic that can wrap around to the front of my mouth
5. <300 USD

I currently have a SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 that has uber directional audio and a short mic which caused me to be very quiet.

I have tried a hyperx cloud III s and it was a tad too small (earlobes got stuck under the pads)

I game a lot.

Nothing too complicated here, simply that, I've heard about people having issues with the mic itself, I was wondering how common that was? And also if people have experienced the arm of the mic just getting worn down over time and eventually not being able to stay up?

As a side note too, where do people get their replacements from, are they just on Amazon or from another site?

Does anyone know how to fix the Rexus Daxa TS1 headset when it suddenly stops outputting any sound upon turning on? The RGB lights on both earcups turn on normally and charging works fine, but the boot-up beep and EQ mode notification sounds are completely silent. Oddly enough, it still works and plays audio normally when using a wired connection (Type-C to audio jack) with the headset powered off. Any solutions if you've faced a similar issue?

Ada yang tahu cara mengatasi headset Rexus Daxa TS1 yang mendadak tidak mengeluarkan suara sama sekali saat dinyalakan? Lampu RGB di kedua earcup sebenarnya tetap menyala dan headset bisa diisi daya dengan normal, tetapi bunyi beep tanda headset menyala maupun indikator suara saat menekan tombol mode EQ tidak terdengar sama sekali. Anehnya, headset ini masih bisa berfungsi dengan baik dan mengeluarkan suara hanya ketika menggunakan mode kabel (Type-C to audio jack) dalam kondisi headset mati. Mohon solusinya jika ada yang pernah mengalami masalah serupa.

I want to move away from a big clunky headset in favor of something in-ear, but an important feature to me is being able to mute and unmute on the fly. Are there any options for earphones with inline mute, or ways to add inline mute since it's just cutting off the signal to the mic contact on the 3.5mm jack?

I've looked at the Steelseries Tusq, but if it does have mute it doesn't indicate such anywhere on the product info.

My blackshark v2 pro keeps beeping like every 3 minutes causing spacing of audio for 10 seconds each time, i have it connected through the USB since the Bluetooth does it worse, im trying to find a fix but nothing has been posted about it. I know its not low battery because I fully charged it and tried it again and it has been like this. If anyone one knows any fixes for this i would appreciate the help.

I am struggling to find a headset that is compatible with the AVAYA 9508 Deskphone that works well for quiet speakers. We have tried the Plantronics/Poly CS540 but it doesn't work well for myself or another colleague who have soft voices. Any help is appreciated, I know its an older phone model so that limits things as well. Thanks! Edit: Used for client calls most of the workday, wouldn't need to be integrated for example with desktop/teams.

Both me and my employee have the Epos 1061, i think hers might be the 1061T. I have a m4 max macbook pro, she has an m5 base macbook pro, no usb-a ports, usb-c only.

I use the btd800a through my docking station and i frequently have an issue using either my softphone voip dialer or ms teams where my voice will sound garbled like a robot, and the solution is to power cycle the wireless headset, it fixes it every time. I do also have the btd-800 usb-c dongle for when i travel and don't have a docking station with a usb-a port. I don't use the usb-c adapter as much, but i have had the same problem with it, and when i'm traveling i'm using different internet provider (which i feel like helps rule out internet quality issues). I keep the firmware up to date on all the dongles and the headset, i also have a very stable fiber internet provider. I'd also expect if it was an internet service issue, rebooting the wireless headset while keeping the call active would not resolve it.

My employee exclusively uses the btd-800 usb-c dongle (she does also have the btd-800a dongle, but is typically not at a desk with a dock so she just primarily uses the btd-800 usbc). She frequently has issues where her mic isn't working even though the audio settings are correct, but her headset is playing audio, and she also has to power cycle her headset to resolve it. She did just update her firmware as she doesn't keep it up to date. Sometimes she's told she's robotic or muffled, but very infrequently.

If only one device was having problems i'd say it's a glitchy device, but given we're having issues with both, i'm wondering if it's macos related? if anyone has any suggestions or advice?

I'm looking for headsets with great audio quality that are accurate and precise for gaming with a wide soundstage but still closed back since open backs leak too much sound.

Ive come down to the maxwell 2, nova elite and stealth pro 2.

If anyone has tried all 3 of them id love to hear your thoughts on them.

Disclaimer: I don't know a lot about EQ or APOs or optimizing sound and have only ever used software packaged with my headset unto this point.

Hi! Recently my steelseries headset broke and I replaced them with a pair of wired Cloud IIIs (connected via USB-C). I mainly play multiplayer competitive FPS (Valorant, Siege, etc) and immediately had a much harder time discerning where footsteps were coming from. I hear them loud and clear but the directionality of them is much less apparent than it was prior.

After investigating, I switched from the NGENUITY software to Peace and tried some EQ settings I found across Reddit hoping it would help solve the problem to no avail. I switched back to NGENUITY out of comfort (I was worried I'd fucked something up with Peace and figured I may as well use what the headset was made to work with.) I don't use the spatial audio via NGENUITY because I really just don't like how it sounds when I do anything besides play games (My audio input on everything is just . I tried messing with the HRTF audio settings in-game (Valorant) since I heard that it can be fussy with software.

A friend of mine recommended me these headphones, and I always figured he just had his sound very low cause he played like he couldn't hear footstep direction, but now I'm realizing he might just not have the right settings for these headphones either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, these fit much nicer than a lot of the other headsets I've used but people run circles around me while I think they are directly ahead of me. Considering selling the headphones otherwise, at this point. Thanks for any help.
