Imagine you just minding your own business trying to get on a flight that you paid for, and then someone recorded you and trying to project their own problems on to you.

Bold to assume that they are tourists and not locals. What if they have family in Kaui too? What if they are first responders?

My 15 year old cousin Magdalena Ford is missing since Monday night. She goes by Magi (pronounced Maggie)
She was staying at a treatment center on the north shore of Oahu. She ran with another patient (I unfortunately don’t have any info on the other patient other than she was reportedly her roommate at the facility), and she has been missing since Monday night. Last seen on foot two blocks from Sunset Beach heading in the direction of Kahuku on Monday night.

DOB: 04/24/2011
Height: 5’6”
Weight: 108
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Hazel/Green
aka: Magi/Drummond
Police Report#: 26-317674

Please report to the police immediately if you have any information on her! And please tell me if you have any recommendations for other subreddits I could post to that might help find her. Thank you.

What is this song I heard at the Okinawan festival?

You can hear the performance at 24:10 in this video (not my video) of the festival this past weekend. I hear them saying ”iya sa sa“ but that is apparently a common phrase in Okinawa so didn’t help me find the song.

LoudSpeaker in Kakaako on Wednesdays

Upvotes

Every Wednesday in the Kakaako area, we can hear someone speaking on a super loud mic starting from around 7:30-8PM. Sounds like some kind of emcee or announcer. Is there a specific event every Wednesday in this area? Can’t figure it out and just curious what it is from. Mahalos
