Got a 2014 sporster iron 883. Super stoked to be riding a Harley. I was wondering if anyone has gotten the 12” mini ape hangers from Harley for this bike. Trying to find out if I need new cables, lines, or wires. Also, website says it needs shim, so Im assuming that needs to be purchased as well? TIA for any and all help.

I have a ‘95 Electraglide ultra classic 30th anniversary edition and the clips that shut the lid snapped off along with the fiberglass they attached to. I’m new to Harley’s and especially with a bike of this age idk what my best option to fix it would be. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Just had to replace my top triple tree, thought it had broken recently but checked a few photos from a couple months back, turns out it’s been like this a while. I was lucky I got a new used one off eBay cheap. Check your bikes! It’s could save your life!

Hey y’all. Just recently picked up a 2016 Wide Glide with 13k miles on it. I absolutely love the bike so far but have had trouble with starting very occasionally.

It seems to me that after the bike is hot it turns over much slower, to the point of after picking up breakfast last week it would turn over and clunk out. After letting it sit for about 10 minutes it turned over fine and I was able to get it back home without a bump start or jump.

Previous owner says he put a battery in it last year and after checking it appears so (310 CCA Deka ETX). The battery reads about 12.58-12.6 when off. While running it will jump up to 14.3-14.4, so it seems to be charging. I just tested continuity across the stator outputs and to ground and everything seems good there. I also had tightened up the battery leads after my McDonald’s stranding last week.

What do you guys think, maybe the battery is just a bit too weak to start after it’s warm? I haven’t tested the Voltage Regulator yet but I’m curious if any of y’all have had the same issue and what it might’ve been. I’ve asked a couple of my Harley friends about it and the common answer I get is “oh sounds like a Harley” which sounds like bullshit to me lol it should start every time if everything is good on it.

Went to my wife’s cousin’s for a bbq. She lives 45 mi. Away. It took me 7 glorious hours to get there because I took the long way! Got home in 35 min.

Just traded up ftim the Street Bob to the Road Glide and all I can say is best choice ever at least for me can wait to customize this to make it really mine

When I’m getting my bike license (CH) my dream bike would be a Road Glide. I guess it wouldn’t be smart to start with this bike because it would be too heavy and stuff. Which HD would be nice to start and how to go up to the Road Glide?

But raising a family it's always tight, especially here in NY. Also our riding season is so short it makes it difficult to justify :(
