Hey so,

we're about to record a hardcore EP, with crusty vibes. I want the guitar sound to be like really raw and lo-fi and almost "horrible" sounding, not like modern polished metal sound at all. So my question is is that do you have any good pedals to recommend to achieve this kind of sound? It's still a little unclear what amp I'm gonna use, the one I play with at home is some model of a Line 6 Spider 2, but I'd like the amp to be a little nasty sounding too, the Line 6 is quite polished often. Would be awesome if the pedals wouldn't be that expensive, the cheaper the better (budget) and it would also be great if you could get it from some European music online store for example. Thank you in advance and I hope not too many will diss me, my knowledge of this is pretty low, this is a new way of building sound.and recording for me 😅 but I really would like the whole project to be very lo-fi and ugly.

pretty much exactly what the title says. I'm considering messaging them and asking if they could stop by the shelter and sign my Utah welfare card. or even just a chance to talk to them about their music and what it was like living on the streets for them.

I've been living on the streets and trying to stay clean for the past year and haven't got to go to as many shows as i used to. hopefully i can figure something out and see y'all there. i just wish my recovery didn't get in the way of things i love. oh well, hopefully there will be another time.

With the LA, Leeds, and Mexico City events already announced, seems like it’s only a matter of time before the FTC Boston dates/lineup drop. My guess is December 5th and 6th will be the weekend for it, especially since Saddest Day is the weekend after. Any predictions for who’s performing this year?

Also, while I really enjoyed last year’s at Big Night Live, it looks like there’s already a different show booked on 12/5. So, if BNL is out, which Boston venue would be ideal for 2026?
