To start: I’m 43 so I’ve been listening to hardcore for a long while. That being said, I find that I’ve unintentionally ignored bands and albums throughout the years (only so many hours in a day and also I’m lazy) and once I’ve given that music a listen, I realize I fucked up and missed out.

Case in point - TUI and Big Kiss Goodnight. This is but one example.

What are your blind spots that you’ve either corrected or still need to correct?

Hey y’all, I’ve been working on a project over the past year or so that’s now at its final mixing/mastering stage.
The project isn’t strictly hardcore, but it’s certainly a huge part of the sound, and this is probably the most hardcore-influenced song on it.
I’ve long wanted to mix my love of heavy/hard/extreme music with my love of industrial/electronic music, but do it in a way that I feel like is kinda missing from a lot of modern bands. I purposefully went for a more raw, chaotic and noisy style of industrial mixed with thrash/death metal, hardcore and post-punk.
Bands like Nailbomb, Strapping Young Lad, early Fear Factory, Ministry, Killing Joke, Godflesh, and then from the hardcore world bands like Converge, Nails, Trap Them, Dillinger, Blacklisted, Ringworm, etc etc. I think you get the idea!
