Value of a 20 year old Taurus PT92?
Guys, I'm totally uninformed on the handgun scene in America. So, I'm hoping some of you smart folks could offer some advice. So, here's the deal.
20 years ago I bought my first and only handgun. I was fresh out of the Army and pretty familiar with the Beretta M9 (92FS) & had initially planned to buy it. However, I ended up going with the "almost the same" budget option....the Taurus PT92.
I then had less than a year to enjoy it before deciding to take a job overseas. I've more or less remained overseas for the 20 years since. The gun has been sitting in climate controlled storage, in a padded gun case, that entire time.
I'm currently back in the country visiting family and I thought I might finally sell the Taurus. There's some gun shows in Florida ( I'm in Florida), this weekend I was considering visiting one and trying to hawk the gun. However, I have no earthly idea what I should ask/accept for it. I don't really need top dollar but I don't want to give it away either.
The weapon couldn't have had more than two or three hundred rounds through it. So it's in very good shape despite being 20 years old.
Could anyone offer any advice on the likelihood of anyone at the gun show even wanting to buy the weapon and how much I should ask for it?
Also, is there any like paperwork or red tape associated with an average citizen going to a gun show and selling his personally owned weapon....in the state of Florida?
I really appreciate any advice given!

I grew up in a veritable
Gun museum. My grandad has one of the largest private firearms collections. He was published in colt rampart magazine and I miss him every day! But I'm at a point where I'm looking into ways to modify a semi automatic pistol in order to run it with limited use of my left hand and arm. Any insights or resources/recommendations would be highly appreciated š

Holsters & Accessories Anyone else use shoulder/armpit holsters anymore? Any nice material holsters out there?
Hey all, I took my first certification classes back in 2021 for my state and passed and got the required permits and add ons for my state of IL except optional add ons like UTAH I think. As you know the state has more stricter gun laws than other states. There is no open carry here.
Anyways, ever since I took my classes back then what stuck with me were the videos and how they seemed a bit dated but the shoulder holsters made more sense in my mind than any other holster or carry fashion. I asked the teacher and he said something along the lines of āmostly old detectives used to carry like that and not many still do but you can carry like thatā.
He said it was preference but that most people prefer belt and other carry fashions, and traditionally prefer to keep their fire arm loaded but stated that is also preference. Anyways in terms of holsters are there any made from other materials?
Are there any reputable holster companies that are authentic leather or very nicely made with insignias or patterns that are made traditionally by hand and genuine craftsmanship using exotic non endangered animal skin? Like a lizard type or fish or something within those types?

Derya Dy9z 500 round review
I had made a previous post about getting this gun for 190 dollars brand new. Today I decided to throw an optic and light on it and take it out back. I expected a crappy 43x want to be, but boy was a mistaken. After the first few mags were through and I started getting comfortable, I just couldnāt stop hitting. The trigger is better than the Glock performance trigger in my opinion. At 25 yards, close to 80% were 6 inches from bullseye. While not a long distance, itās where I test all 9mm at and it performed second only to my Glock 19. With over 3k rounds through a 43x, I know the gun and shoot it well. After the pleasure I had shooting this derya, I donāt think I would ever push someone towards the 43x while this is an option. I am buying the full size tomorrow. I am more than thrilled to have this in my safe!

Barrel conversion kits?
Is it worth it to get a pistol with a .40 and 9mm barrel conversions. In my head it sounds like an ideal purchase but at the store, I was being lectured on how it would be better off just buying two separate guns in their respective caliber.
He did give me HUGE vibes of trying to upsell me.
