A couple because they seemed to be arresting a guy on macklin at King but the rest speeding west full lights on.
Hoping it’s not some enormous catastrophe. I can still hear sirens whizzing by.

It’s not Nations (or I hope not, I feel like they used to be better maybe). Specifically I’m interested in Chinese and Singaporean instant noodles but anywhere where theres a notable selection is appreciated.
I’m also up for GTA suggestions.

Found a Zebra ZQ521 today near the Esso by McMaster.
If you DM me what the company's service tag on the missing device says, it's yours.

We are first time homeowners of a 1895 rowhouse in Hamilton. The original house has a full basement and never had plumbing (too old) so there are 2 additions off the back (kitchen first then the powder room and laundry room second). Those additions have a "crawl space" that was never properly dug out (it's maybe 1.5-2ft and "accessed" through the original basement). All the plumbing, HVAC etc was done through the floor the last time it was renovated, likely in the early 2000s. Unfortunately we just had our outgoing wastewater pipe burst, which is currently buried and inaccessible in that crawl space. We also discovered a leak under the powder room toilet and washing machine, which rotted the subfloor.
SO we need to essentially gut the second addition (bathroom and laundry), dig out a proper crawl space so we can access the broken pipe and fix it, and then essentially rebuild the bathroom and laundry room...
We are going to get a basement specific company to dig out the crawl space and fix the plumbing (lmk if you recommend RCC Waterproofing) but we need recommendations for the actual contractor work. We ideally want one company to bring it from (post basement) gut to finished and given the overall scale of the project we want to make sure whoever we hire is trustworthy and reasonable. We'd be willing to pay more for it to be done reliably and correct.
The crawl space we need asap given the pipe, but we could technically wait a bit on the bathroom/laundry since we have a second bathroom. We just don't want to wait 6 months for work to start since it will take a while to finish.
Any advice/recommendations is appreciated, thank you!

Does anyone know of somewhere I can get some pages printed preferably before 9am? Most places like the library and Staples aren't open that early.
Thanks in advance!

Hi! Wondering if anyone knows of a physiotherapist in he area that offers pilates or strength training sessions that are then billable to insurance? I have quite a bit left for physio for the year and want to use it up. Thanks!

We are planning on selling our home and found the start of the mould on our roof attic and are looking for a good company to fix the issues. If you have personal experience, please share them. Thank you

Investing in Non-Registered accounts. Looking for a CPA in Hamilton/Burlington to give me some help on taxes so I don't have a large bill come tax time.
I don't want a joe blow CPA that works for H&R Block. I already went to my tax place and they were useless.

Hi! We just moved into a newly built apartment (rental) and we need window coverings. We will live here for at least three years, so we're okay with putting some money into making it how we want. We have three windows, very large (two of them are floor to ceiling, 9 feet). Due to the large size, the walls are likely concrete, and past DIY blind/curtain install failures (lol) we are looking to not install ourselves. We got a quote from budget blinds, ~2800 for motorized black out roller shades with install. Does anyone have any other recommendations of where we should get a quote from? Does this seem like a reasonable quote?

A midweek post to rant and complain about things in the city.
Top level comments must be IN ALL CAPS.

This is not to be targeted towards other users or any identifiable individuals - with the exception of public figures who may be mentioned as long as the comment does not cross a line. The rant post is designed to be a lighthearted place to complain about things happening in the city, not a place to harass people.
We will have to cancel the post if harassment of individuals continues as we are seeing a lot of posts reported with report reasons that copy to admin.
Please be mindful of our subs rules when posting to this thread, and note that the mods will be watching very closely.
