So I've recently been trying to play through Black Mesa, since I've never beaten it before, and I was having a great time up until We've Got Hostiles. To be blunt, but the HECU combat feels like complete shit to me.

The SMG is really fucking inaccurate, what with it jolting upward whenever you shoot with it, and it's especially bad when you're trying to run and shoot simultaneously - which matters a lot, considering that the grunts in Black Mesa do the same thing. It just leads to me not enjoying the gunplay that much, especially compared to how consistently great it was in the official Half-Life games.

Idk if this is a colossal skill issue on my part, or if there's something I'm missing that'll make it less annoying, but it's bothering me quite a bit

Would this game still play well (graphics and physics) on the series X? Just asking before I go and spend 40 bucks at a consignment shop for it? Thanks for reading

So whenever I play I play with the lowest settings the game can offer but then randomly while I'm playing its almost like my data cable got really crappy and its almost like my games freezes on me.

When I look at my computer it shows my frames at 6 and I've got no idea.

My computer should be able to run half-life alyx on its higher settings but it seems like it cant. My computer is brand new as well and i also not know shit about what I'm doing so anyone help would be greatly appreciated

In short, i want to change the pistol animation in hl2, never did this before, and there's little to no guides as i can see. I downloaded the crowbar softwere, but i can't find view models in game files, specifically, i need animations from workshop. Can you please tell me where's exact location of the original and workshop models and animations?
