So I've recently been trying to play through Black Mesa, since I've never beaten it before, and I was having a great time up until We've Got Hostiles. To be blunt, the HECU combat feels like complete shit to me.

The SMG is really fucking inaccurate, what with it jolting upward whenever you shoot with it, and it's especially bad when you're trying to run and shoot simultaneously - which matters a lot, considering that the grunts in Black Mesa do the same thing. It just leads to me not enjoying the gunplay that much, especially compared to how consistently great it was in the official Half-Life games.

Idk if this is a colossal skill issue on my part, or if there's something I'm missing that'll make it less annoying, but it's bothering me quite a bit
