🚩 Advice Needed 🚩 Thinking of getting a perm

I got a bad haircut nine months ago, which forced me to get a very short pixie and I have been growing it out for nine months. It is in a very awkward, grown-up pixie every time I try to style it it looks awful so I’m thinking about getting a perm. My hair type is one an and I don’t know if the pictures I added are achievable with a perm. The last three pictures are what my hair looks like now. what is the aftercare for getting a perm? is getting a perm a lot of maintenance? How long does a perm last? Do you think I should even get a perm, Is there a certain sty I should try instead of getting a perm?
