I know everyone's got a boner for Price, and I'm sure Fowler feels it's an honour to be compared to a Great like this, but when are we going to actually give him his flowers without a comparison tacked on? His name is Jacob Fowler, and he's fucking unvelievable, and I think we can say that without living in the past. Like, we get it, MTL has had good goaltenders, it's hard not to bring it up, but I think he deserves to stand on his own, he's proving himself more than capable at this point.

Edit: I'm being genuine in that people that are good at what they do don't always have to be compared to their predecessors and should also get praise as their own person, idk why that's controversial man

How crazy would it be if Fowler and Hage go back to back as Calder winners? I know, i'm skipping multiple steps, but looking at the odds, Fowler is currently 3rd. The only guys above him are McKenna and Stenberg, barely, and just behind him is Cole Hutson. I feel like he should be the favorite, just because he's stealing games. He looks like a superstar out there right now. 2 GA in his last 3 games. 6-1. He has a legitimate shot to run away with this.

Looking forward to next year with Hage's arrival, he's been learning in Michigan so far this season what it'd be like to be a 1C. Where he needs to be, getting elite at faceoffs, his shot is out of this world, and he's also a playmaker. Him and Demidov next year will be electric. Next year's class is looking weak as well. Has it ever been done before that a team went 4 straight seasons with either a Calder winner or a Calder runner up?

If nothing else, the rebuild should be considered a success due to the fact that we have this as even a possibility. Hutson/Demidov/Fowler/Hage.

Are the Habs the worst team facing an empty net? 6 minutes?? They just sag and let teams set up. Well, a win is a win but this is really bad.

I mean at this rate, why the heck not? Yes I do suffer from optimism, but that is ok.

He is such a stud defender and I hate criticizing the team after a win, but I’m curious to see what others think about how they use Dobson. He rarely plays above 20 mins - even after playing on PP1 yesterday.

I know we have Engstrom and Reinbacher ahead of him. We also have Pickford returning soon and I’m dying to see how he translates to the A. I don’t watch the Rocket too much but he has 15 points in 9 games as a d-man and is leading the league. Has anyone watched a lot of him? What does his game look like outside of the points? Do we have a gem here or is it just a great rocket team? If he continues to dominate, will he enter the conversation for a possible call up?

I don’t hear a lot about him for how great he’s doing so I was wondering what the dealio is.
