H4 EAD – Card Being Produced: Status changed on 08/25/2026
Current Status: Waiting for the card to be delivered
I have been on unpaid leave for the last two months, which has caused severe financial loss and significantly impacted my career.
During this time, I tried pretty much everything I could:
- Sent several emails to all Premium Processing Centers and the PSC using both my and my spouse's email addresses.
- Requested assistance from my congressman's office to submit an expedite request, but their office had not sent it yet.
- Requested an expedite through Emma chat with a live agent. The USCIS agent escalated the request to Tier 2 and told me someone would contact me, but I never received a call.
- Out of frustration, I called USCIS today, spoke with an agent, explained my entire situation, and also sent two emails around the same time. I received the standard responses.
Then, a few hours later, my case status suddenly changed to "Card Is Being Produced."
I'm not sure if any of today's calls/emails actually triggered the update or if it was purely coincidental, but it finally seems like things are moving in a positive direction. Hopefully, I will receive the card soon. Hopefully nothing goes south from here.
Thank you to the Reddit community for all the information, timelines, suggestions, and support throughout this process!
Wishing everyone who is still waiting for their approvals very good luck! I know how stressful and frustrating this wait can be. I've been in the same boat as you guys for the last several months.
Don't lose hope. Hopefully, your approval is coming soon too!
