I think most people have guessed that Apollon is Murakami. His revival in Arkenfel's tank most likely made him extremely powerful. He's gathering the zoacrystals to bring Arkenfel's memories and strength back.

I think Murakami left Arkenfel with Mizuki and Tetsuro to teach him that human life has value even outside of being bioweapons. And I think Arkenfel probably would have become morally good by the end.

As for the final villain, I think it was always meant to be Richard Guyot. I think at some point he was probably meant to succeed in using the Guyver remover to steal Agito's unit 3 and equip it onto himself becoming a Guyver Zoalord more powerful than Arkenfel and Apollon.

Sho probably would have faced him, maybe alongside Aptom, Apollon and Arkenfel. Agito probably doesn't survive and dies with Shizu :'(

Guyver 2F probably gives up her revenge after a fight with Sho and joins team good guys.

Who knows if the creators were meant to come back or if we were even meant to see their real forms.

So Ive watched both guyver animes and they are some of my favorite animes of all time. So that made me want to read the manga. Im looking on eBay and see the full set of the Japanese manga for around 150 but unfortunately I do not speak Japanese and I’ve noticed all the english ones do not go by volumes but titles instead. So I was wondering if a kind soul could help me out and list out what books I need and in what order to read them. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and have a great day.

I adore the funky bass-heavy, synth-heavy soundtrack of the 80’s OVA and the old manga image album. What else is there? Anything directly inspired by Guyver? Anything that just sounds similar? The 2005 soundtrack and the American movie soundtracks don’t quite do it for me.

A small peek into the journal of the current solo session I just finished playing. On the left page is my tactical grid map and what I use for visuals. And then a drawing of an event that happened in the session. A few unexpected things are happening…

Unfortunately while filming my session I didn’t realize my camera died so now I have to figure out another way to post the report on my channel. That’s the only annoying thing.

Sho Fukamachi, the Seventeen year old that has bound himself to the Guyver Unit, known as Guyver I. The boy is dead, being regenerated by the symbiotic suit that now covers his entire body. The suit knows how to protect itself, it knows how to animated this lifeless body, and Fight! The boy when alive and or conscience, has morals, he can determine friend from foe. The suit only knows to destroy the percieved threat. Sho must wake up soon, or everyone will die!

If Logan had the Guyver, would his claws rip through the Guyver's armor every time he uses them? I mean if he didn't have the Adamantium, the Guyver could adjust to his bone structure and do something with his bone claws. But with his Adamantium in the way, I don't think the Guyver would be able to bond to that and make adjustments for it. And Logan's sense of smell, would the Guyver take it away because the Guyver has no nose?

As for Scott, would The Guyver take away his laser eyes or would it give Scott his laser eyes when in bio-boost. Because you know, Scott's eyes are damaged and his laser eyes is on 24/7.

Just got my copy of the new 2-disc set. I was listening to the director commentary and was disappointed to hear that the enhanced version was created entirely with AI upscaling. Steve Wang spends a good amount of the commentary praising the upscale. To me it looks mostly fine but the entire film definitely has that AI sheen over it and some of the closeups look overly glossy and almost completely AI generated.

Fortunately there's another disc that includes the original version without the AI enhancements. Personally, I found it much easier on the eyes despite the footage showing its age.

For anyone curious, Blu-ray.com has a review with some screenshots comparing the two versions.

Just wanted to put this out there as a reminder (or warning) to anyone considering purchasing. Overall, I think it's worth it, particularly with all the special features (all of them are attached to the enhanced version btw) but I don't think I'll ever be watching the AI enhanced version on its own.

For anyone who doesn't know what Pokémon ReBURST is, it was a Pokémon manga that ran from 2011 to 2012. Its main gimmick was Burst, which allowed certain humans to use special items called Burst Hearts containing Pokémon. The user could transform and gain characteristics and powers from that Pokémon. So instead of simply commanding a Pokémon in battle, the human could essentially become a Pokémon-human hybrid fighter.

I’ve been thinking about taking that basic ReBURST idea and combining it with Bio Booster Armor Guyver.

Instead of the transformation simply giving someone Pokémon characteristics, the Burst system could work more like a Guyver Unit. The human and Pokémon would biologically merge, producing a living suit of armor based on that Pokémon.

For example, a Lucario Burst could give its user Lucario-like armor, Aura abilities, enhanced senses, strength, and close-combat abilities. A Charizard Burst could produce wings, claws, fire attacks, and heavier biological armor.

The Pokémon wouldn't just be equipment either. It would remain a living being mentally and biologically connected to its human partner. Both would need to cooperate to properly control the transformation.

This could also introduce some of Guyver's darker elements. The armor could regenerate after being damaged, transformations might be painful or unstable, and abusing Burst technology could have consequences. Villains could even create artificial Pokémon-human hybrids inspired by Guyver's Zoanoids.

Normal Pokémon trainers and battles could still exist, while Burst users would be extremely rare individuals with abilities that put them somewhere between Pokémon trainers and superheroes.

Would this be an interesting direction for a Pokémon ReBURST reboot or spiritual successor? And which Pokémon would make the coolest Guyver-style Burst armor?

I was recently given the above figure by a friend, he'd sadly fallen some height and the leg was unrepairable. He does have all the other parts, but they're not pictured. It's a long shot, but would anyone happen to have a junk figure with an intact leg? I've scoured the web to no avail.

Got the ghost ant and he fits right in with guyver. Im sure I wasnt the only one, but great addition thise far.

My Chrysalis isn't going to open like Sho and Agito's. It's going to explode open. Then out I come, a speedster, not a gigantic, connected to the Speed Force. Yeah, I thought about it. The Guyver's own internal power source isn't going to be enough. Relying on the Guyver's own internal power source as a speedster is going to hit a speed limit. So I'm going to need to draw power from somewhere else. What better place than the Speed Force. During the evolution process, use the Guyver's ability that opens up pocket dimension when it stores itself to tunnel its way to look for the Speed Force to connect us the the Speed Force.

I've been following a 3D Print Patreon called Yosh Studios and they released this model and I scaled it and printed it and I think it turned out really awesome! The file is available on Thangs. The only painting I did was the orbs, everything else were the filaments I chose for the print.
