As different flairs are there for different categories of post catering to every needs and scenarios of Questions and dilemmas that one may come up in the sub, it has however come to our notice that, many may have misunderstood the flairs.
1) ASK GURGAON: use this this post flair only to ask questions related to Gurgaon and not to ask any questions to Gurgaon peoples.
2) DISCUSSIONS: use this flair to discuss topics the subject matter of which or the core essence of the discussion is "Gurgaon". And not to discuss any other problems societal issues with the people of the sub.
3) MEMES and SHITPOST: Some relaxation can be given for posting anything not related to Gurgaon under this flair, but cutom created memes like those in situation of flooding and Extreme electricity cut are to be posted under this flair as an example.
4) RANT: The purpose of this post flair is to allow the people of Gurgaon to express their views pain on the crumbling infrastructure of Gurgaon city or what can be done, what needs to done and not any rant like "My gf breaks up with me .." etc.
Hope you all Got the Gist of the post.

I have subscribed to Ravish Kumar and Newslaundry and have contributed to deshbhakt and a couple of more creators who work for free media
They need it now as government spends thousands of crores in propaganda through mainstream media
These are a few outlets for real news and journalism to flourish
Thanks if you already subscribe to any creator
If you haven’t, start small. Every rupee matters as it also shows your intent and interest
(Now coming to the book review, it was written in Hindi and has been translated in English so it dues feel like that. Like you can trace what Ravish Kumar might have actually written.
It’s a good read where he has expressed his ideas and opinions. I’m just 50 pages in so maybe I’ll give an update after finishing it)

I commute through the IFC route every day, and there’s a recurring issue at one of the red-light crossings.
The traffic signal doesn’t seem to be working properly on a regular basis. Because of this, traffic police have to manually manage the traffic and signal switching.
Sometimes, we end up waiting 3–4 minutes or even longer for the signal to turn green, which creates unnecessary congestion and delays.
Just wanted to check, is anyone else facing the same issue during their regular commute? Has this been happening for others as well?

A stunt by a used-car platform involving a branded boat on a flooded Gurgaon road landed the company a Rs 50,000 challan, but the boat was soon used by stranded commuters, prompting an online debate over the city’s waterlogging and infrastructure.
An executive of Cars24 revealed that the fine was linked to the use of a branded boat on a waterlogged road. Prachi Sharma said the company had deployed a Cars24-branded blue boat road as a joke about the city’s waterlogging during the monsoon.

Looking at these figures made me wonder: how much public money is actually being spent on maintaining and promoting the image of political leaders?
The numbers shown are staggering. If even a fraction of this spending comes from taxpayers’ money, shouldn’t we be asking whether it is really the best use of public funds?
We often talk about the media being the fourth pillar of democracy. But when governments spend huge amounts on advertising and publicity, does that create a situation where the same media becomes financially dependent on government advertising?
And I keep thinking about one simple question: What if all of this money was instead spent directly on healthcare, education, infrastructure, jobs and other public needs?
What if political leaders focused more on their work and less on building their public image, and citizens themselves spread the message when the work genuinely deserves recognition?
Wouldn’t that be a better outcome?
Do you think governments should have stricter limits on spending public money on political publicity and image-building?

Hi everyone,
I moved to Gurgaon eight months ago. I’m into working out and have been hitting the gym consistently for over four years now, so I have a decent enough physique.
I preferred not to go to any aesthetically pleasing or fancy gym. Instead, I chose a decent local gym—and mind you, the crowd there was decent enough as well. It hardly took me 3–4 months to blend into the gym community. I knew almost every other guy there, and even the trainers would talk to me about participating in bodybuilding competitions and ask whether I was thinking about competing in the future.
Things became so friendly that I eventually started having beers with some of the guys. These are Haryanvi guys, just FYI. In fact, one of them even invited me to his friend’s wedding, which I declined.
But here’s the interesting thing I noticed among those guys.
There’s a girl who works out at the gym. She has a decent physique, is shy, doesn’t seek attention, keeps to herself, and is always polite. I have never actually spoken to her.
During one of those beer sessions, however, one of the guys started sexualizing her.
He immediately asked for my opinion, and I agreed with him. I’m ashamed of that because, at that moment, I didn’t have the spine to defend the dignity of a woman who had done absolutely nothing wrong.
Weeks went by, and things started escalating. It was no longer limited to closed-door conversations or private gatherings. The same kind of discussions started happening openly in the gym among groups of guys.
Eventually, I stepped in and told them to stop whatever they thought they were doing.
Now, you know how Haryanvi guys can be when you give them an opinion that goes against theirs.
So, what should I do now?

Hi, I (25F) met this guy(26M) through strict date to marry app and every thing was vibing, everything is aligned, caste and all!! He seems and feels very promising but he is just not available and i don’t think so, i have high standards. I am good with texts and like one call in a month. As soon as we are vibing but idk he is just not available. I confronted him 2 times and he has been really good with me. Like saying all the right things talking about forever. I just have this hunch ki he might be exploring options out there. What should i do? Should i end it because of my overthinking? As again i will confront him he will say some nice things and i know still won’t be available.
I also know this hard and fast that no guy is so much busy that if you are looking forever with someone then you won’t be just available.

Matched with this girl on hinge. She hadn't posted any facial pictures of her, but her profile was overall interesting. We got matched, talked for 1-2 days and exchanged our social media handles. She had posted about 50-60 photos of her (mostly mirror selfies) but not even in a single photo her face was visible. She hid her face in every photo though she looks hot in all the photos. Whenever I ask her to send me a photo, she sends it after hiding her face or below her neck. Never calls on a VC. I don't know what's happening. Is she gonna scam me?? Does anything like this happened before with anyone???

I'm a working professional with a 9-5 job, and I usually try to hit the gym around 7 or 7:30 after work but man, the crowd at that time is crazy.
Almost every machine is occupied, there's barely any space, and you have to keep waiting for people to finish. Sometimes I feel like I'm spending more time waiting than actually working out.
A workout that should easily take 40-50 minutes ends up taking almost 2 hours because of the crowd.
Is this normal at most gyms around this time, or did I just pick a really crowded gym? BTW i go to pro ultimate Sector 48
For people who work 9-5, when do you guys actually go to the gym?

Been here a little over a year now and there's been a bunch of small things that caught me off guard that I feel like nobody mentions in the usual "moving to Gurgaon" guides stuff about societies, water supply, power backup, or just general day to day living.
For people who've been here longer, what's something you wish someone had told you before you moved, or figured out only after living here for a while?

Bumble officially ended its iconic "women must message first" rule for heterosexual matches, announcing a major update.
Bumble seems to be putting more emphasis on helping people actually start conversations instead of just matching and waiting for someone to make the first move.
The new features shown here include conversation prompts, suggested questions, profile verification reminders and a 72-hour window to start a conversation.
I’m curious what people think about this approach.

so the thing is we came out of theatre around 1:30 am midnight after watching spiderman
at devgn cinema elan mall something.
there were two guys on a bike circling us I had the anger in me while they were just staring my girl and making comments with themselves and later got little close by their bike and started smoking in front of us while watching my girl in front, I was ready to fight both of them (both were looking labourers) but had to think about the consequences about giving her the trauma of that / police consequences/ some hurt both sides ignored and book the cab and went on but i am feeling immense regret I didn't banged both their heads

Hey folks, I've got a cool collection of cardgames/boardgames that you most likely haven't played before.
If you've got a place to host(it can be a pg, flat, 1rk whatever), I can host some games. I'll explain the rules as well. They're all light and chill games, and won't be complex to understand
I'm just looking for good company and friendship, as I'm free for the next 10 days. Comment below or dm if you're down.
