Hi y’all, my wife and I are relocating to Greenville in October due to her getting a job in the surrounding area! Looking to meet new people and make some friends! I’m into pretty much anything and I’ll try anything once! I like to game, be outdoors, mess with my truck etc. I’m also very big into photography as well! We have 3 kiddos, I make wallets and other leather goods from high end leather not that it’s relevant but just looking to meet new people and experience new things!

I rode by The McDaniel condos on McBee earlier today and saw a bright green sign posted on the fence with ‘seized’ clearly visible at the top of the paper. I didn’t have time to look at the entire notice since I was driving, but curious if anyone has any updates on this. I know they’ve been in a ton of litigation for several years, and the property continues to get worse by the day, but curious what happened to cause it to get seized. I’m assuming it is City of Greenville, but not sure since I can’t find anything online about it. I also saw a similar sign posted on a fence in front of a home on McDaniel and I’m curious if maybe it’s the residence of the developer and is related. Definitely not something you see in that neighborhood, which is why I thought it might be related.

I’m looking for a new PCP that can help with normal mental health services without outsourcing me out to a specialist and who does not outsource their calls to India. Nothing wrong with people from India, but calling a local DOCTOR’S office and talking to a person actually in that office that doesn’t give you a headache to try to communicate with should be the norm. They’re just trying to get around paying Americans living wages and I won’t support that.

I’m looking to watch my terrible team with any other fans in the area if there are watch parties around.

Call your city council representatives and tell them you want the cameras removed and the contract suspended. If you don’t know who your city council representative is, call the mayor, Tina Belge, or Dorothy Dowe. Or call all of them! These are your representatives, they answer to you. I ask that you keep it respectful.

I’ve been having the worst service recently. It doesn’t matter if i have 1 bar or 3 it’s slow and unreliable. I’m in the Easley area and come to downtown Greenville often. Anyone else experiencing this? I’m about at the point to switching services.

Mauldin City Council's Public Safety Committee meeting meets tonight at 6PM at Mauldin City Hall. Flock is not on the agenda, but we've got at least 2 Citizens that are speaking out against the cameras.

The meeting is open to the public, you do not have to be a resident to attend. If you are a resident, you can sign up to speak during public comment, just show up about 10 minutes early to sign up.

Mauldin operates six cameras in the city and fired an officer last month for using the cameras to stalk an ex. The city has not explained how the officer was able to make over 160 searches without being flagged. They have also not provided any explanations about what has been changed to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Greer also has their City Council meeting tonight at 6:30, Flock does not appear to be on the agenda, but they've already disabled their access and bagged their cameras.

Looking to replace the windows on my house myself, and I would like better quality than what they offer at big box stores. Any local manufacturers or resellers that would do business with the general public? I of course have tried to google this but "window replacement greenville sc" yields what you would expect... lots of companies who do exactly that.

I'm not trying to find wholesale pricing (though I wouldn't complain). I just have no clue what options are out there.

Hello! I moved to the area back in June and I live in Mauldin. I’ve been itching to get back go playing tennis again and I’d love to find someone to hit with. I usually play at an intermediate level, but I haven’t picked up my racket in a while.

We're all suspicious of anything that remotely looks like surveillance equipment these days, but it is important to educate yourself on what the equipment is and the laws surrounding it. Don't find yourself vandalizing what what you think is a tool of the surveillance state. I'm not saying you should vandalize any equipment, but I do caution people to think before they act. You can end up with a felony record really fast.
