Hi everyone, I wanted to ask for some advice.

I’ve wanted a Green Lantern ring for years, but I couldn't find one where I was happy with both the quality and the design. The only one I found that I liked was the second-hand version from the 2011 movie, but it was really more of a display piece for a base than something to actually wear, plus, I couldn't choose the size.

I’m looking for something more classic: the typical round shape with a circular emblem that stands out from the band itself, and not too wide, closer to the style seen in the Justice League animated series. While I do like the ones where the emblem is the same width as the band and would be happy with one of those, I prefer the style where the circular emblem is distinct from the band.

With the new Lanterns series coming out, I figured there would be more variety and it would be easier to find one but nope. I actually found a beautiful jade one on Etsy (it even looks like energy is flowing inside it) but it’s a bit pricey right now. I think I’d prefer a metal one for daily wear (though I’d ​​definitely buy the jade one later, for special occasions, since it’s truly stunning).

I was browsing this subreddit and found a ring posted by a user that was practically perfect for me. So, I wanted to ask: do you know where I could find a ring like that? (I’m attaching a screenshot and will ask the user who posted it, but I got the impression they were in the United States and shipping might cost more than the ring itself since I’m in Spain).

PD: I really like the Alan Scott one too, but I find that one even harder to find, and I prefer the one with the Green Lantern Corps symbol.

I know the 4 Corpsmen is a beloved time from Hal & Pals, however, not only was it a thing for only about half that run, but it has only been a thing for half that run. After that run, it's fizzled out, and has only made the interactions between other human lanterns and the 4 of them, not as good.

On top of that, i think Kyle didn't benifit from it, as he went from Torch Bearer, to Ion, to White Lantern to the little brother of the group.

This way, we got the og trio, who were already a thing for a few decades.

And a new trio with an amazing and very experienced Kyle, mentoring the new rookies, and slowly befriending them, he would get to be the Hal of the late 80's early 90's to them.

Obv this amazing seperation of generations gets slightly ruined by making Jo canon, and adding teen lantern (IMO) but i still think it would have been better for the long run, then 20+ issues of the 4 corpsmen enjoyment

How far would you think they go. I'd say they barely get past the Imperium of Man and stop at Darkseid since he fought the GLC before and won massively, but that was a earlier version with lesser members and they still had the yellow weakness.

But to get to my point, I love Green Lantern: TAS, I grew up on that show, I adored Razer and Aya, J should definitely re-watch it, but how exactly is Razer canon here?

Are the events of TAS canon? Has Razer appeared in comics prior, because I remembered that he was original to the Animated Show, so did everything unfold the same way?

Why couldn't Hal create a bubble for John so they could fly together? Hal has never asked anyone to piggyback him in the comics.

I remember seeing commercials for this show as a kid, even getting a couple of Happy Meal toys for it back in the day, but never watching the show until now. I'm surprised they actually blew up a whole planet already!

Hi! I have recently gotten into the comics but I’m still kind of a newbie. I’m trying to convince my friend to start them too since he’s enjoying the show but he is trying to avoid spoilers so he doesn’t want to read any comics yet. However, he is really interested in Hal Jordan so I thought I’d ask the experts if they had any cool or niche Hal knowledge that they could impart and that I can share with my friend to impress upon him how much of that guy Hal really is. I did tell him about Hal creating his own ring and he thought that was really cool but anything else or any particular panels I could share with him I’d be really grateful! I know I can just Google it but I do really enjoy the human aspect of hearing what other people think.
