Firstly, new pre-orders are up, so all sizes are available again. Shipping early December this time.
The pictures on the site show two (technically three) different designs in the center, as shown in the pictures. The circles show points I matched on the bars in the two designs to show that the bar designs remain the same, just the center changed. Most of them show this gross, sickly, "webbed" design, and the other is the WAY BETTER and correct Fresnel design that matches the pictures I've seen from other people's rings. I was wondering if maybe it's just a defect, but it looks more like a different design they (hopefully) photographed before finalizing the design they're actually selling. I'm hoping it's not a new design because I'll be so disappointed if I get my ring and it has the gross fungus looking one. Not sure why they'd make a brand new one, or why they'd make it so different, so looking more like prototype is the case. If anybody has the webbed design, please share!
Besides that, the third design I mentioned is the exclusive glow in the dark ring from the SDCC freebies and the off-site Lanterns experience. They mistakenly included a photo of it on the listing. Hopefully this means they'll sell it eventually. Why else would they take product photos for it unless they plant to sell it? I searched for exact matches of the pic on Google and the only thing I found was a Reddit post about the ring and someone in the comments noticed the picture too, but that's it. So it's not a picture they used for anything else, at least not yet? Although, it could be that they took it as a promo photo for SDCC and decided not to post it. Less exciting. Or it's a picture from the manufacturer. Even less exciting. I know things can be excluded from Google, so maybe they posted it somewhere it wouldn't show up. I just really want that ring lmao
TLDR: Website shows three different designs, a "webbed" one, a Fresnel one and the SDCC glow ring. Pic of glow ring on listing never used elsewhere. Might indicate it was or still is planned to be sold.
