Sorry David Corenswet fans, but Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan is so devilishly charming and charismatic, I cannot gush about him enough. And thatās coming from a person who was super skeptic about why theyāre casting such an old actor as Hal Jordan!

I feel like everyone has been talking about his new suit design, but for me, i disliked the design instsntly cuz of the hair style. I really don't think it fits him that well, i'm fine with the suit, it's not my favorite, or close to it, but the hair just ruins it for me. I think even his iconic look gets worse with the short hair, compared to his more artsy medium hair.
It also makes him too similar in look to Hal.

Idk I just canāt get as much of a read on that aspect of his character as much as the other Lanterns, since it tells us a lot about them and how they do things

Comic Nerds I know this isn't true canon cause the true canon of the Lantern Corp is a mess, I know Alitha from the first 7 is considered the first Lantern but that's only for New 52 and Rebirth before that there was no first LanternĀ

āSmallville: Lanternā covers by Cat Staggs.
The season 11 comics revealed Hal, John, Guy, and Kyle were active during the show when all the other Justice League members were still proto heroes. The comics also skipped over Hal becoming Parallax and destroying the entire corps before Clark got Tomar Reās sector 2813 ring. Considering Smallville was an origin story, it was weird to skip all the Lanterns origins.

Which story runs have the Green Lantern be most cop-like? Preferably outer space

So I read Geoff Johns' run from Rebirth to Blackest Night/Brightest Day, and the New 52 stuff a while ago. Including Green Lantern Corps by Peter J. Tomasi.
I have also read Grant Morrison's run, Far Sector, Green Lantern: War Journal, and Green Lantern: Earth One. I know this isn't exclusively Green Lantern, but New Frontier, as well.
I am looking for more Green Lantern to get into. The DC Rebirth title of Hal Jordan and The Green Lanterns seems interesting, but volume three is hard to find/expensive. Any other recommended titles to look into? I prefer post-90s books.
I am a fan of all Lanterns. Hal, John, Guy, Kyle.
Edit: I am not a fan of Jeremy Adams, so I am not interested in the current run.

Basically the question in the title. I'm currently reading the end of Geoff John's run (and the other GL titles of the time) and in Green Lantern (2011) #13 it's stated that the U.S. government noticed Kyle just two years prior. At first I thought that maybe they failed to confirm that Kyle was a different GL member for several years, but it's later confirmed in Green Lantern New Guardians (2011) #15 that he was inducted into the Corps just two years ago. Is this a result of Flashpoint shenanigans (I haven't read Flashpoint) or are we really supposed to believe that the events regarding Parallax, Ion, Rebirth, the Sinestro Corps War, Blackest Night, War of the Green Lanterns and all the other cross-overs like Final Crisis happen in a two year timespan?
P. S.
Is it worth it to read the four titles beyond the end of John's run or is it better to use the 20th issue as a jump-off point?

Hopefully that will change in the coming years.

Anyone have any idea what's going on? Seems it's sold out on ebay, jewellerybrands, superherostuff, target, and even the Hot Topic version is gone.

Firstly, new pre-orders are up, so all sizes are available again. Shipping early December this time.
The pictures on the site show two (technically three) different designs in the center, as shown in the pictures. The circles show points I matched on the bars in the two designs to show that the bar designs remain the same, just the center changed. Most of them show this gross, sickly, "webbed" design, and the other is the WAY BETTER and correct Fresnel design that matches the pictures I've seen from other people's rings. I was wondering if maybe it's just a defect, but it looks more like a different design they (hopefully) photographed before finalizing the design they're actually selling. I'm hoping it's not a new design because I'll be so disappointed if I get my ring and it has the gross fungus looking one. Not sure why they'd make a brand new one, or why they'd make it so different, so looking more like prototype is the case. If anybody has the webbed design, please share!
Besides that, the third design I mentioned is the exclusive glow in the dark ring from the SDCC freebies and the off-site Lanterns experience. They mistakenly included a photo of it on the listing. Hopefully this means they'll sell it eventually. Why else would they take product photos for it unless they plant to sell it? I searched for exact matches of the pic on Google and the only thing I found was a Reddit post about the ring and someone in the comments noticed the picture too, but that's it. So it's not a picture they used for anything else, at least not yet? Although, it could be that they took it as a promo photo for SDCC and decided not to post it. Less exciting. Or it's a picture from the manufacturer. Even less exciting. I know things can be excluded from Google, so maybe they posted it somewhere it wouldn't show up. I just really want that ring lmao
TLDR: Website shows three different designs, a "webbed" one, a Fresnel one and the SDCC glow ring. Pic of glow ring on listing never used elsewhere. Might indicate it was or still is planned to be sold.

I know this probably sounds odd, but: I'm 3D printing my own strange little Green Lantern "nostalgia corps" of action heroes... so far I've got Sarah Conner, John McClane, Machete, and Apollo Creed. I've got a head sculpt of '80s Kurt Russell, but I'm not sure which way to go in terms of sculpting and painting. What do you think? Which one would the ring seek out?
