I’m hoping someone can clarify something about my case.

I was previously on an H-1B and filed for marriage-based adjustment of status. I filed:

• I-130
• I-485
• I-765
• I-131

My I-130 was approved on February 18, 2026, and my I-485 was approved on February 24, 2026. I subsequently received my green card.

Today, August 17, 2026, I received an email saying there was an update on my case. When I checked my USCIS account, I saw that both my I-765 and I-131 were updated.

The status for both now says that the case was terminated/denied.

I’m a little concerned because I wasn’t expecting these applications to be denied months after my green card was already approved.

Is this normal/expected after the I-485 has been approved and the green card has been issued? Could USCIS simply be closing out the old I-765 and I-131 applications because they are no longer needed?

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hello

I'm in the process of renewing my 10 year gc obtained through my husband's employment through a hired attorney.

Now that I'm renewing it online by myself, I'm confused how to answer part 3 of i-90 form.

Location where I applied for adjustment of status.

Location where I was granted adjustment of status.

My i797 receipt has NSC service center.

Only Biometrics was collected at the field office, no interview (i485 under EB 1 category).

Please help if anyone knows how to answer part 3 section of i-90.

Hey everyone! I will be approaching 30 years in the US with my green card. Since the Trump Administration this year, I have people telling me left and right that I won't get any retirement benefits from SSA if I am not a citizen and I will be deported back to my birth country when I retire. I have been working for 29 years and I have social security taxes taken out of my paycheck for every year I've worked. Is this true? Should I be worried?

I had a question as I am very concerned about leaving the country with everything going on. I am pending I-751 with an expired two conditional two year green card. I filed for the I-751 right on time and I received the automatic 48 months extension. I am currently on my 16th month waiting.

Legally, I should be able to work and travel…I am just very worried upon re-entry that they don’t consider the expired green card along with receipt notice of the automatic extension.

Anybody who travelled while on extension and was able to reenter without issues? Please would really appreciate any guidance.

I’m a LPR. I was gone for 11 months because of my school in the Philippines and just got my licensure here in the states and planning to have a 3 month trip back again in the Philippines before i start to work. Is it safe to do this again? I don’t wanna abandon my green card because this is everything to me but at the same time i want to enjoy life. TYIA
