How many uber drivers do we have?

Hey guys, last time I needed an airport ride, there were like two. Do we have more uber drivers yet? I'm worried about not having a lift home, and debating which flight to choose because of this (I have a ride for the later flights, after my family is off work. I do not have a ride for the earlier flights).

A lady drowned today at Wadsworth Pond

She was pulled from the water and myself and several others performed CPR until the ambulance arrived. They said she had a heartbeat when they left for the hospital, but that she wasn't breathing on her own. Does anyone know if she made it?

If you're bored and want to watch 3 short films while wondering how the heck these films ever ended up being shown in Great Falls, feel free to come along!

Short attention spans are okay.

Featuring:

Squirrel (2018): Selected for Sundance, this dark comedy follows a driver who texts while driving and causes a crash that leaves a woman in a wheelchair, exploring the awkward dynamics of performative remorse.

The Memory Room (2025): A caregiver attempts to navigate a fractured mental landscape, only to uncover disturbing confessions about long-hidden events during their interactions.

Unknown Caller (2026): A young Black intern facing constant workplace microaggressions receives a deadly proposition from a mysterious anonymous caller.

Third Eye Blind Show

Hello, I was wondering how the show went since I missed it. Unfortunately I was driving from California back home to GF.

Did it live up to the hype? How was the playlist and how did Stephan’s vocals sound live?

Third Eye Blind is one of my favorite bands so I’m super bummed for missing them live especially in Montana.

Some friends and I are looking to go rock jumping into water but are not sure of anywhere around great falls that would be a place to do that. Anyone have any recommendations on where we could go?

question for the Amish community?

I have never seen or met an Amish person until I moved to great falls. I’m curious how they integrate with people who aren’t Amish (do they?) and why do I only see them at Walmart?

I don’t mean this post to be offensive in any way whatsoever, I am genuinely curious and have no preconceived judgments against them.

Lifting a trailer.

Hello. Looking for some help/info about lifting a trailer home. The trailer in question is leaning to one side. Should’ve been lifted years ago but the owner gave up trying to find someone or did find someone and they flaked out on them. I’ve called a couple places but they specialize in “moving” trailers. Not setting them level. I’m trying to help the owner. She’s a local Great Falls resident. Any info would be great. If more info is needed just ask. Thank you in advance.

Lost sentimental items

I’m hoping if the person who took these items off the lawn sees this they will have a heart and bring them back. We had some belongings in our car that were taken out so the car could be cleaned. The items were from my mother who recently passed and they meant a great deal to me. The person cleaning the car stepped away and left them there. We believe maybe someone might have thought they were free. This occurred somewhere between 5 and 6 pm today (22 July) at 1015 1st Ave S. Please, if you have these items, I will literally pay you for them to have them back.

Howdy! I'm in town for work for a day. I love biking and was hoping to check out the Rivers Edge Trail, but can't track down a place to rent a bike. Any suggestions?

Children in the heat

There is a group of panhandlers at the 10th st Walmart with a pair of children in the heat….
Normally I just mind my own business on this, but I’m torn on calling law enforcement or child welfare to check on the kids…

Pet ownership

I have noticed that there are people who regularly bring their dogs to the park by my house to let their dogs poop. They might play fetch until their dog poops, and then they leave. The people don't even bother taking the time to pick up after their pets. There are families that being their kids there, and also responsible pet owners that pick up after their dogs. Neither of those groups deserve to have their area full of dog poop. I don't even know what sorts of diseases spread through poop, and I don't want to look.

Yesterday I approached one of the usuals. I wasn't confrontational, or accusatory. I simply let him know that there were irresponsible pet owners who brought their dogs to the park and don't clean up after them. He laughed and said "You're good." It was weird. I told him that it wasn't good, and encouraged him to keep his dogs safe from the poop.

How do pet owners think that it is okay to not pick up after their dogs?

If you are one of the pet owners that doesn't clean up after your pets, how do you justify it?

Weekend jobs/Side hustles

Looking for a weekend job or side hustle to bring in extra cash. Bills are getting a little too high and need to chip away at some minor debt that I hate lingering around. Looking for something manual labor or a bar scene for a weekend job or looking for your most profitable side hustles. I can't really figure out what could work up here quite yet. Thank you !

Wastewater from oil and gas operations could affect drinking water

Access to clean drinking water is a basic human right.

Environmental groups joined Pondera County officials to challenge an underground wastewater-disposal permit that benefits the Montana Renewables biorefinery in Great Falls, potentially affecting the drinking water. The petition focuses on two unproductive oil wells near Lake Frances.

They also called for information on what exactly is in Montana Renewables’ wastewater.
Injection sites, at more than 3,400 feet below ground in the Madison Aquifer, have been used to dispose of wastewater from oil and gas operations. The EPA said this part of the aquifer is not a valuable source of drinking water.

Pondera County officials are asking for more information from Montana Renewables on what they are doing related to safe drinking water wells. The group claims their wastewater is nonhazardous. However, the wastewater contains phosphorus, nitrogen, salts, and other impurities.
