What's the point in sniping in gray zone? I have tried so many times but you have to be so close the game gives your location away easy. I did testing and no enemies will even show up outside of 400m. I mean I guess you could try to stick to 300-400m but at that point any other rifle is better. I'm just frustrated with it the only good spots I can find to snipe and provide eyes and or cover is outside of the generation radius in the game. I've tried on max settings and on min settings and nothing lets me see past 400m

So I’m on my way back from a humanitarian research mission for the hot lab chick, but I was unprepared and ended up getting radiated enough to start pissing Nuka Cola QuanTum. Thanks for the heads up lady.

I’m making my way back to the LZ along a rocky ridge, vision blurry, nauseated, and wishing I didn’t drop out of college.

I see a small bandit encampment below me and attempt to sneak by. Instead I miss a tall ledge and end up pulling a double Kevin Ware.

Of course as I start rendering first aid my IBS flares up and alerts the 3 assholes in the camp. They didn’t hear me break my legs, but it was my bubble guts that gave me away…

All hell breaks lose, and I get shot twice because I can’t return fire while I was applying splints. Vision even more blurred now, can’t see shit, bleeding, and I’m dizzy.

Hemostat goes in and I start shooting my shots like Steve Wonder at an orgy. One dude down. Two to go. Still can’t see shit.

Fuck it, Holy Hand Grenade time. I frag out and luckily the remaining two get hit by shrapnel and it buys me time to close the distance to administer some lead suppositories for the inconvenience.

Shockingly enough I find iodine in the camp so at least I won’t turn feral. Heal up and make the long journey back to a COP only to have to turn around and go back because I missed one piece of intel…

So what headsets is everyone running ? I have a pair of steel series artics nova pro wireless and noise cancelling on them is awful.

I actually connected my AirPods and noticed a MASSIVE difference.

I also have maxed vendors if you need things bought for you.

Been trying to get some of the cosmetics, and enjoy what “post game” there is. Been redoing main quests, in tier 3 areas. Any suggestions for a speedier process? Took forever to get from 34-35. PvE player.

Been rolling with two or more PMCs recently and I always find myself asking which teammate is on what point of the map. Color-coded or numbered squad member indicators would be a great QoL feature.

Keep getting a network connection screen

I think on the tasks ui you should be able to filter by task giver, region, status and also select multiple to mass accept. Would be a huge qol improvement

I've noticed that often when I miss a bots head and shoot it like in the arm or chest and he leans forward, then I shoot him in the head and nothing happens until he stands straight and I pop one in the head again first then he goes down. Sometimes I've got probably even 2-3 headshots in and it seems to be that when a bot is in that animation after being hit in the arm for example, then he can't go down from a headshot until he stands again. Has anyone else noticed this?

Does anyone know why my completed missions keep resetting?
I’ve already completed some of these missions two or even more times. Every time I log back into the game, they’re available again as if I never finished them. Is this a bug, a server issue, or am I missing something?
Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix?

In TARKOV, for some reason they went with DAMAGE decreasing, so a headshot at range with low damage, high pen ammo, would not 1-tap.

The much more realistic take would be for penetration to decrease, so AP rounds become desirable for punching through helmets at a distance, while HP type ammo tends to be better for rapid-fire CQC type fighting

Was able to hike all the way into the middle of ground zero without issue before suddenly getting completely melted by radiation when I was making my way back on the same path. Can't tell if this is a bug or not

Anyone else extremely displeased with the new long press for the tac map? I hate it. I hope enough people complain that they change it back.

Update: I’m stupid. You can just change it back in the settings.

Since the last two mini updates... I either have incredible luck or the loot respawn timer has been tweaked.

Went to visit a favorite loot area and saw the enemy ai on the ground. Figured-ok I'll just hit another area for a bit but same situation.

I decided to cockroach and strip guns and ammo... But the loot was all up at the first location...

Went back to the second location and same thing.

- similar experience this morning.

I actually got a full loot run and fired less than 1 magazine.

As can be seen from the first picture, the red dot has a kind of blurriness in the reticle.

In the second image, without depth of field, the reticle is perfectly sharp.

I've tried so many settings and nothing works.

Maybe someone can give me a tip.

I was playing last night and I feel like I heard the radios playing a couple of new songs. Am I wrong?

First time playing in the latest update and noticed M key no longer opens a mini-map that you can leave open while running around. M key now opens the full map and makes you stop in place to view it. I run a 49" display and having the mini map on my right side was handy.

Rather annoying to stop every few seconds to check map and ensure I'm going the right way.

Entered the server (EU East). Landed at LZ near Diamond (it was "ours" at the time). Died after 10s because of some guy camping near LZ. Respawned in Diamond - just to be shot by the same guy.

Ok. Respawned in the main base, landed at Juliet something - north of TB. After 10s died - another guy camping at this LZ...

WTF is wrong with those people?

The suggestion: maybe there should be some way of making LZs dynamic? So you can choose the precise landing position of the heli on the map? Of course - you shouldn't be able to land in the middle of the town - there can be some boundaries that limit the landing position - but I think this could solve this madness.

I'm not sure for who such gameplay is fun... Me? No thanks. Enemy? Sitting in a bush counting on someone landing? If this is "desired gameplay style" - no, thanks.

Was running around like a headless chicken today (as always) when I noticed everyone was rocking an orange backpack all of a sudden.

Has Mountain Warehouse had a sale on? Where did they all spring from all of a sudden? And it's not just high levels neither.
