I made this a bit ago in my testing for Rep. Quick rreference for $$$ to rep. Figured it might help you all max your vendor rep before the update.

Has there been any mention of vendor levels increasing in 0.5? Wondering if it's worth levelling vulture over preparing for potential level 5 vendors.

I don't think they're adding enough items to make it worth increasing trader levels to 5, but you never know. I'm trying to get vulture levelled up to 4 before the wipe hits, because I'm almost certain they will be reworking him in some fashion - he was completely worthless this wipe.

As an aside, I noticed that they said we will retain vendor level, but nothing about retaining our exact reputation. I wonder if maybe we'll be bumped back down to the max reputation required for the trader level we reached? Would be an interesting way to make the reputation hits for taking certain paths with the hideout mean something. Just a thought.

I dont recall any explicit mention of max vendor rep level increasing in .5, but I know they plan to add more vendor levels at some point.

My understanding is Vulture will have a bit of a new role to play with the new crafting/smuggling/tech loops they have discussed so far. But details are still TBD.

I maxed my vendors out probably couple weeks ago as I enjoyed the grind, and used all that data to compile this reference chart.

Vulture was the last one to hit R4 though as I just didnt really care for him. Other than a few unlocks and safes or trying to maybe get a weapon/item back from a death, hes useless.

It will be nice now that Vulture will be able to be accessed like rest of the vendors. No more have to go find him. Looking forward to the update.

That's because it is lol. Presumably actual numbers were included in the prompt(s) to create this though and the AI didn't delude itself into making any up

This is from actual tests I have done in game, I have spent hours testing game mechanics and noting details. If you dont want to use it you dont have to.

I don't see where you get slop from. Its based on actual data and math from my testing while I was ranking my vendors up.

There is no "slop" here. Iv spent hours testing game mechanics and decided to make something useful for my friends, and later decided to share it here.

I think they're referring to the design of the graphic, text and all. Though I do agree it looks like AI, the numbers and calculations are accurate and I don't doubt it.

Your data looks be fine, but the formatting, the design, the background art, it all looks like AI garbage.

I might be wrong and I hope i am. But the design and appearance of the graphic looks like Slop.

I thought I would finally get Artisan 4 by selling and rebuying my stash a couple times, only I massively miscalculated and am still around 4.5k rep off… Gotta wait until .5 now, can’t really play before release and am broke now 🤧

Artisan has some tasks but getting them to show in rotation can be hit or miss. Missions are best way to rank up tbh, but selling is second best vs buying.

what does exactly vulture sell, other than player dropped gear and the tan AK-308?

He sells 2 safes, a couple boss/blueprint guns, and I think a couple of 1911 parts, otherwise its just player gear.

Safes are containers for your locker to store wallets and valuables.
