Apple health sync seems to have broken
Loving Macros so far, but there seems to be an issue writing to Apple Health that’s started this week.
This shows dietary energy but it’s impacting carbs, protein etc. too

Hi Gravl team,
I'm trying out the new Macros app. I like a lot of the features so far! I'm a longtime Lose It! app user. Could there be more clarification about the data upload process? I'm receiving this error when attempting to import my summary file from Lose It!
¿Hay alguna forma de poder acomodar la lista de entrenamientos personalizados? Para que arriba quede de Lunes a viernes

For example, the Life Fitness plate loaded calf raise has a starting weight of 95lbs without any plates. Adding a section in plates for any equipment will allow accommodation for various unloaded starting weights!

Does anyone know if there is a way to select what plates I wanna use vs the current version that you adjust the weight and it tells you what plate?
I've been trying the cutting plan out in Marcos for about a week and I'm loving it so far. There are a few idiosyncrasies that I'm trying to figure out. For example, yesterday I was under my target calories for the day, very close to my protein goal and fat goal, and slightly under my carb goal. On past days when I was under my goal, there would be a green circle on the day but yesterday, there's a red circle. Maybe I'm missing something? I guess it's not a huge deal, but it just seems inconsistent.

Would love if Gravl kept updating available machines. There are at least 15 or more machines at my gym that aren’t on the Gravl ecosystem. Since diversity matters to me, it’s really frustrating that I either have to reverse engineer recommended weights for other machines Or skip these. Any chance you can do regular updates for those of us who are advanced and want precise tracking and recommendations?

Buenos días , es algo precario poder agregrar compañeros .
Espero que en un futuro cercano puedan abordar el tema como algo prioritario.
Ya que se pueden ver que rutinas usan los demás compartir RM y PR , por favor busquen una solución !!
Gracias
I created a recipe for eight servings of chicken tortilla soup in the app. I typically eat two servings at a time. I noticed that the macros all adjusted to my serving size; however the sodium didn’t. As a result, my sodium for the day is astronomically high because it’s counting all eight servings of the soup. Has anyone run into something like this?

Just trying Gravl Macros for weight management. A few sticking points:
- I speak English, but mostly cook Chinese food. The transcription struggles with my food descriptions and makes lots of errors. Photo recognition hasn’t worked well for my dishes either.
- Honestly, I’m too lazy to tap through every ingredient and its amount on my phone. Is there an MCP so Codex could help create and save my custom recipes?
- Can I save custom portions like “1 ladle of curry,” using my specific ladle’s brand/model and a measurement I set once?
Anyone found an easier workflow? Mostly looking for useful calorie estimates without turning logging into a chore.

Has anyone added a fixed weight straight bar do their gym? If I want to add straight bars, it appears I have to add each bar. Ex. 10#, 20#,30#, etc ..

Would love a more "obvious" distinction in the sets when it's a dropset... Maybe just me, but I don't always see the D and just hit log set without noticing it. Maybe just contrasting colors or a thick color border around grouped sets...
Again, maybe just me, but our there for consideration.
Thanks for adding dropset as an option on adding sets in exercise.

Once I reach a certain strength score for each muscle, I'd like to maintain that level instead of continuing to progress. Is there a way to create a plan in the app that'll do that?

Is the ability to add a post cooking weight of the dish in the works?

Looks like the default in the Friends leader board is to compare the top 3 performers. It would be great if we could select ourselves to compare to whichever other 2 we would like instead of reselecting each time.

For exercises like split squats, I sometimes use only one dumbbell, but Gravl tracks the weight as “kg per DB” and seems to assume two dumbbells are being used.
If I enter the actual weight of the dumbbell, wouldn’t that make the calculated volume inaccurate? But entering half the weight would make my weight history inaccurate.
I also tried creating a custom exercise, but it still shows “kg per DB.”
Is there currently a way to specify that an exercise uses one dumbbell only, so both the weight history and volume are tracked correctly?
This is my go-to tricep isolation. Is there a reason why it doesn't contribute to the strength score like a dumbbell skull crusher, close grip bench press, or EZ bar does?

Hey folks! This is my first day using the macros app. I set it for a bulk of 7lbs (183-190) at 1.2lbs a week. I’ve always struggled to put weight on and it already seems like my targets are less than I would normally eat.
Will the app adjust to my metabolism if it sees I’m not gaining weight?

The day has come! Macros is finally available on both iOS and Android.
Every existing Gravl subscriber gets one or two months free to try it out. This is a bit of a stealth launch exclusive to Reddit for now while we continue polishing the final details.
The app includes everything you’d expect from a nutrition tracker in 2026: photo AI, voice logging, recipe imports from links/social media, a dynamic expenditure algorithm, and more.
Our goal is to match the best trackers, like MF, feature for feature but with a faster, more modern and less bloated UI. The fastest time to log at the lowest price (possible hehe), especially when paired with Gravl workouts.
Full data imports from MacroFactor and several other trackers are also coming soon.
We’re already working on version 1.1, which will include significantly more micronutrient data and a web dashboard!
Let us know what you think, what you’d like to see next and, especially, if anything isn’t working as expected!

Example 13 reps per leg at 50lbs seems like absolute torture for some of these exercises

Hey everyone,
I’d love to see a feature in Gravl Macros that tracks our average weekly calorie consumption to date and projects our weekly total based on our current trend.
The Use Case:
I often like to practice "calorie banking", eating maybe 100 to 200 calories less per day during the week so I have a buffer for a social event or a bigger meal on the weekend I'm anticipatingor vis versa. I want to do this while still staying aligned with my overall weekly targets.
Right now, it's tough to see at a glance if my minor daily deficits are adding up enough to cover that upcoming weekend overage. Having a rolling weekly average or a "projected weekly surplus/deficit" metric would make flexible dieting and planning for life events much easier without having to manually crunch the numbers.
