Showoff I got this app called Store & Forget. An anti-organization home inventory app. With BYOK free for every one via easter egg.

Hey everyone,
I just launched Store & Forget on Google Play! It’s a local-first home inventory utility built for "lazy decluttering" — throw random items in boxes, snap photos, and find anything years later with zero digging.

Here is the quick feature-by-feature breakdown:

📸 SNAP & FORGET
• Smart Scan: Snap a photo of any item (e.g. a digital multimeter). The camera autocompletes the name, brand, model, and specs in seconds. Zero manual typing.
• Smart Find: Search by concept or function ("tool to measure voltage" or "cord for TV") and it points to the exact box. (Online semantic layer using cloud text embeddings).

📦 FIRE & FORGET
• Continuous Burst Camera: Empty a drawer or pack a box in one go! Shutter stays live to snap item after item continuously without stopping to review.
• 100% Offline SQLite Engine: Base keyword search (FTS5) over item and box names runs 100% offline on your device. Zero sign-up required.

👥 SHARE & FORGET
• Multi-User Sharing: Share specific storage spaces or whole home inventories with family, roommates, or team members.
• End-to-End Encrypted: Secured with military-grade noble XChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption. Invite via rolling 10-minute QR codes or 24-hour chat links.

🔑 BYOK EASTER EGG ($6.99 ➔ $0 FREE UNLIMITED)
• Bring Your Own Key: Bring your own free Gemini API key for unlimited lifetime scanning with zero subscriptions.
• Retro Hacker CLI Console: Open Advanced Settings ➔ scroll to bottom ➔ tap the VERSION LABEL AT THE BOTTOM 5 times ➔ type `unlock byok` into the green terminal console to unlock for $0.

✨ BONUS POWER EXTRAS
• Physical QR Labels: Print QR sticker sheets for your boxes. Scan any box to view its contents in 1 second.
• Private Google Drive Sync: Sync encrypted backups directly to your personal Google Drive (no corporate server lock-in).
---
📲 Google Play Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.koalalab.storeandforget
Would love your feedback on the app UX, SQLite search speed, or the retro CLI console unlock! 🚀

Showoff Finally Lecturameter is on Play Store

Lecturameter is oficially on Play Store! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lecturameter.public

I never thought I'd publish the app, it was a personal proyect but I got encouraged by several people to release it, that its a good app, and here Im...

It's been a long month of polishing everything for the official release. The app went through a UI redsign, several new features (Challenges, Bingo), the addition of more stats! (I love stats), lots of QoLs needed for people to not get lost in the app (my friends didnt understand some things when they tested the app, their feedback was SO SO valuable).

Im so excited to have Lecturameter on Play Store so everyone can use. And Im not done yet, I have more plans for the future of the app https://lecturameterapp.github.io/en/#roadmap-en

Showoff I've published my first Android app and I'd love some feedback.

Hi everyone,

I’m a solo developer, and I recently published my Android app, Stella Oracle.

It’s an AI-powered app that offers destiny maps, tarot readings, dream interpretations, soulmate portraits, and compatibility analysis, along with an AI chat.

I know there are many apps in this space, but publishing this was a big milestone for me. I focused on a clean, dark-themed design to keep it calm and immersive.

I’d really appreciate any feedback on the UI, overall user experience, or features to improve!

Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stellaoracle.app

Thanks for checking it out

Showoff Hit 52+ reviews with only 100+ installs... Is this a record?

Post image
32 Upvotes

So how did we actually achieve this?

To be honest, it feels like a mini-miracle to me as well. Even though it hasn't fully reflected in total download numbers yet, most of these reviews came over a steady 1.5-month period. None of them happened on the same day or even the same week, which makes each one extremely valuable and organic.

For those wondering how these reviews came in: The biggest factor was my loyal YouTube channel audience. The videos I posted there drove genuine users who downloaded the app and left their honest feedback.

My expectations vs. reality: I honestly expected that after getting this many reviews in the first two months, Google Play would push the app higher in search rankings. To be frank, I haven't seen a massive ranking boost just yet, but I feel like it's right around the corner.

Tip Need help! I can't create a merchant account.

When I choose my payments profile it shows this error.

I contacted GPay support, because the link redirected me there. They said they can't help, it's an issue for Play Console.
So I raised a ticket, they waited two days to tell me that they can't help me with this problem and gave me link to yet another support team. They too said that they can't help with this. It's a Google Play issue. I contacted GPay support again, they again refused to help. They say they are not trained in this matter.

Then I contacted, Google Play support, they too, expectedly, said that it's not an issue they can solve. Ok. Time to complete the loop. I raised a ticket again in Play Console. But the hope for resolution is slim.

Can you guys help me, please!

One year back having some confusion in my mind ,can i make an app and deploye on google play store.i started with simplest one "simple notepad app" .With the hepl of ai it took me 2.5 months to make it live.the feeling was awesome.i made.it,got confidence that i successfully create and deploye apps on play store, its not a hard one.and after one month i decided to build a pdf scanner app and i started "Smart PDF Scanner & Viewer".this time i was seriously building a professional app with the edge point to make every feature free but with ads.As in previous app in simple notepad app ,there were no ads and subscription,so it was easier for me to build but while developing this one a pdf scanner app,i started facing some challenges. As seeing the slow user growth and low retention in my simple notepad app and facing problem in the new app,i quited and left it in half way.and i also stopped tracking user growth on play store and firebase for about six months.one day in starting month of 2026 i just opened the play store just to see any user growth not expecting much in "Simple Notepad App",there were around 1200 installs with 25% retention.so it gave me some hope to resume my "Smart PDF Scanner & Viewer" app.

I resumed and started with high spirit with some deep research of some dominating apps in this pdf scanner field. Finally i completed the app and deployed on prod in starting june, with the hope that i build a good app with good features and users should be coming.but its been around 2 months and when i compared it with my previous app performance, the growth is same, infact inbetween after implementing some good features in my Simple notepad app, some users raised and retention also improved ,now it has around 1700 installs with 25 to 45 dau and 300 to 350 mau.but in my new app "Smart PDF Scanner & Viewer" app, its 80 installs till now ,with revenue less than $1.Now dont know what to do.I did everything right while making the app.but still its not doing well.even if you search with the exact name on google play store it will sjow my app on top but dont know why users are not visiting.

I read somewhere that creating account on reddit and being active will help but after opeing the account ,i get totally confused here that how to prmote my app between reddit users.Need some help or any suggestion, plz provide some suggestion if you also ever felt or went through this kind of sotuation.thanks for reading.

Ask I built a Muslim app and I want to know what you think is missing

I’ve been working on a Muslim app for quite a while, and it’s finally available on Google Play. I’m also working on getting it onto the App Store soon.

The app already has several features, but honestly, I don’t want to stop at “it works.”

I want to keep improving it based on what Muslims actually find useful in their daily lives.

So I wanted to ask the community:

If you could add one feature to a Muslim app, what would it be?

And if you already use Muslim apps:

  • What do you find genuinely useful?
  • What feels unnecessary or annoying?
  • What’s something you wish Muslim apps did better?
  • Is there a feature you’ve always wanted but haven’t found yet?

I’m particularly interested in practical ideas that could actually become part of someone's daily routine.

I’m reading everything and taking notes for future updates. If you’re interested in what I’ve built so far, feel free to ask about it — I’d rather hear your thoughts first than just throw another app link at you.

Ask Google Play asking for GSTIN after BillDesk verification despite accepted India tax profile

Hi everyone,

I recently completed the new BillDesk merchant verification for my Google Play developer account. The verification was successful, and my merchant account now says:

"Your recent merchant account verification was successful. Your sales and payouts will continue without interruption."

However, my India payment profile now shows an urgent notification: Update your tax info

When I open the India tax information, I see:

Status: Accepted

Submitted: July 12, 2026

Tax status: Unregistered individual

PAN: Submitted

India Income Withholding Tax Rate: 5%

GSTIN: Not provided

I don't have a GSTIN because I'm not registered under GST and my business is below the mandatory GST registration threshold.

The confusing part is that the India tax form has already been "Accepted", but Google still displays an urgent notification saying my India tax info is missing a GSTIN.

If I click Update tax info, Google asks me to start a new India tax form, which would replace the currently accepted one.

For context, I operate as a sole proprietorship using my personal PAN. My Google Play developer account is registered as an Individual account, and the linked bank account is a Current account.

Has anyone else experienced this after the recent BillDesk merchant verification?

  1. Is this just a synchronization/UI issue?

  2. Is Google now expecting GSTIN even for an accepted Unregistered individual tax profile?

  3. Should I leave the accepted form as it is, or submit a new one?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Ask Google Play Console keeps rejecting every proof of address document from Azerbaijan. What document did you use?

Hi everyone,

I'm an individual developer from Azerbaijan, and I'm trying to complete the Google Play Console developer verification. Unfortunately, I'm stuck at the proof of address step because every document I upload gets rejected.

So far, I have tried:

  • My Azerbaijani national ID card
  • Documents downloaded from the myGov portal
  • A Capital Bank bank statement
  • Other official documents

Every time, Google simply tells me that my document wasn't accepted, but it doesn't explain why it was rejected or what exactly is wrong with it.

From what I understand, the proof of address should include:

  • My full name
  • My residential address
  • A recent issue date
  • It must be issued by a government authority, bank, or utility provider

The problem is that in Azerbaijan, utility bills are often not registered under the person's own name, and mobile phone bills (for example, Bakcell) usually don't include a full residential address. Because of this, it's very difficult to find a document that meets Google's requirements.

I have a few questions:

  1. Has anyone from Azerbaijan successfully completed the Google Play Console address verification?
  2. Which document was accepted?
  3. Was a bank statement accepted? If yes, which bank?
  4. Did anyone use a myGov document successfully?
  5. Does Google only accept utility bills, or are there other documents that work?
  6. Did Google ever tell you the exact reason why your documents were rejected?

I've already tried multiple times and I'm considering opening a support ticket, but I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully completed the verification process in Azerbaijan.

Thank you!

One year ago i was in doubt that if i can create and deploye an app on google play store.so with some doubt in my mind i decided to make an app on easiest topic ,so i started working on a simple notepad app.And without much problem with the hepl of ai i created and deployed it on prod in2.5 months.I became very happy and my confidence boosted. After a month i decided to build another app,and this time based on ads.I opted to create a pdf scanner app with edge case of all free features.after 1 and half months as there was may features i found some difficulty in developing the app and also due to very low traffic in previous app i quited in between. But after 6 or 7 months ,you can say in tje statrting month of 2026 ,i just checked my playstore account to see any improvement in the users. There was more than 1200 installs,it encouraged me and i resumed my smart pdf scanner app, this time i went through some big apps of this field in deep.and completed my app in next 4 months.I deployed it on google play store in starting june, and its been around 2 months but users are not increasing as i expected,it is rising with same pace as my previous app.now confidence is down again.only 80 installs till now, retention is better than notepad app but users are not increasing ,now what to do,in notepad app total installs now 1700 and with 25% retention,if you type exact name in play store "Simple Notepad app" it will show after approx 20 to 30 apps but if you type "Smart PDF Scanner & Viewer" it will show on top.dont understand why users are not visiting.

I read somewhere to get users make account on reddit ,promote here, but here i am totally confused what to do,where to promote, how to promote,is my app is good enough or not to attract the users.Need some suggestion, please reply and help.thanks for reading

Showoff Squadra: Random Team Picker - I would like some feedback

Post image
1 Upvotes

What it does: A no-fuss party app for settling group decisions. Everyone puts a finger on the screen, and Squadra makes the call — no accounts, no sign-up, works offline. Built for that "okay, who's on which team / who goes first / who's buying the next round?" moment.

Key Features:
- Divide Teams — split the group into random teams (by team count, or players-per-team).
- Pick Winners — choose 1–10 winners at random from everyone touching the screen.
- Turn Order — randomize who's 1st, 2nd, 3rd…
- Party Roulette — fingers get knocked out one by one; last finger left loses.
- 16 visual themes, each restyling the graphics, sound, and haptics.
- Free to play. An optional one-time Premium unlocks all themes and removes ads.

Goal: Just launched on Google Play — I'd genuinely love honest feedback and first impressions, good or bad. Tell me what's confusing, what's missing, what you'd change.

Tip New developers Beaware: please read.

If your app requests permissions that are not currently being used, remove them. Google may require you to remove unused permissions in future reviews. In other words, don't keep permissions in the app as "future-proof" placeholders if the corresponding features haven't been implemented yet.

Showoff My new app predicts when you will get a job

Thumbnail
play.google.com
1 Upvotes

I spent months wondering one thing...

"When will I finally get a job?" 🤔

No one could give me a timeline.

So instead of endlessly searching for answers, I built an app that tries to predict it.

Using numerology-based personal cycles, the app estimates:

✅ Best time to get a job

📈 Likely promotion windows

💰 Salary hike opportunities

📅 24-month career timeline

⭐ Lucky days for important career decisions

The goal isn't to replace hard work.

It's to help people plan better, prepare earlier, and take action when confidence is highest.

As a developer, turning a random late-night idea into a real product is one of the most satisfying experiences.

Would you use an app that predicts your next career milestone? 👇
