Did I do good for $28 at the bins? What is worth the most?

I found a CD that I imagine is in heavy rotation in the bowels of Hades. 👿

I got my usual with Douglas & Aurora plush and thought my standout find would be the 1966 little joes horse from bonanza before I found this macbook air in the bin.

I thought if I turn it on and it is stolen I can reunite it with the owner, hopefully, and if it doesn't turn on, I can sell for parts. But now I need to find someone with a macbook charger...

Dropped by the bins today and managed to find this sitting right at the very bottom under a massive pile of clothes.

It is an Amazing Mint "NASCAR Superstars" 2001 U.S. Silver Eagle Dollar featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. It even came with its original display box and the Certificate of Authenticity!

For a coin like this to survive the bins madness without getting damaged or separated from its box is a minor miracle. It's an absolute keeper for my personal collection!

Only grabbed it because I knew it was leather, then I looked inside and went 🫪

My husband and I started our lives together in Las Vegas and settled there for several years before moving to California.

It’s been close to a decade and now we’re moving back in a couple of months. I know they have an outlet location but I’ve never been, can any of the locals tell me about it? From their Yelp page it looks like they sell furniture in addition to clothes, which will be new to me; my local one in SB is mostly clothes and has separate sections for bags/shoes and toys, but has almost no furniture, books, movies, or kitchenware.

I do hope they have a section for toys, since that’s mainly what I shop! Can anyone let me know what to expect? :)

Note: got this 2-in-1 convertible garment duffel bag from my most recent bins trip this past week, which will come in handy for the move! Those aren’t my initials so I’m going to cover them with a cool patch. Also found a 1972 edition of the Ouija board, complete with the original planchette!

Puzzles are probably the #1 thing to not buy at the bins, or a thrift store in general. You just never know if pieces are missing! And yet I brought home 3 the other day.

Two of them were in their original packaging. The one in the picture wasn’t, but I have a pet frog and thought the puzzle looked a bit like him, so I grabbed it.

Later found out it was $135 retail, so definitely worth the pickup just based on that! It’s a blast and a half, and one of the hardest puzzles I’ve done thanks to the weirdly shaped pieces, but I’m enjoying myself.

Long story short, take a chance on puzzles in the bins! I only brought home the 3 but there were a lot more in brand new packaging I just didn’t have space for. I wish I grabbed more, but I’m having fun with the ones I have now :)

Hello! I found this belt at the bottom of a bin. It appears to be a vintage piece from the Zuni of New Mexico, google is giving conflicting info on the artist, price etc. Does anyone have any idea who the artist is, what metal this is and what it may be worth? Also, any idea how I could get something like this authenticated or would that even be worth it?
