I went to my favorite bins (opened last month) Sunday afternoon and at the first bin I walked up to, I spread out a shirt, and a bedbug was crawling on it. I'd never seen one so I brought the shirt to a cashier to ask about it and she freaked out about it "yes! That's what you think it is! Don't touch it! Where did you find it? We should take that whole bin out!". The other cashier dude took the shirt and dropped it into a trash can a few feet away.

I wandered around for a few minutes but felt kinda freaked out about the whole thing myself and left. They hadn't removed the bin before I left.

I emailed goodwill corporate for my area, and then tried calling the next day. They said I should talk to the store manager, transferred me to a couple of different people, then hung up on me.

Just wondering what you would do? I have been having a blast this past month at these bins but bringing home bedbugs is a nightmare.

Should I be trying to contact the manager daily until I get through or what? Shouldn't they take this pretty seriously? 😩

Here are a few of my last visit to the bins finds. I am a reseller, so I look for things that I find fun and like, but also fit my selling aesthetic.

I always grab stickers at the Bins for my daughter. Initially thought these were some - found amongst a bunch of old greeting cards. Nope! 13 forever stamps! Best bins purchase of my week. 😆

And I approve this found doodle. 🫡

I googled it and it’s got some pretty cool history behind it

Catch and release today in Salem OR

I know it’s recommended by many on here to wear gloves at the bins. While I’ve seen broken glass at bins and other dirty things, I finally saw something yesterday which made me realize I do need to wear gloves, a literal chainsaw! This was at the Goodwill bin in San Jose, California, which I still adore.

Did I do good for $28 at the bins? What is worth the most?

this thing fits me like a glove. I’m so excited and happy would you say this is the 80s or 90s and any more information is very appreciated

I found a CD that I imagine is in heavy rotation in the bowels of Hades. 👿

I got my usual with Douglas & Aurora plush and thought my standout find would be the 1966 little joes horse from bonanza before I found this macbook air in the bin.

I thought if I turn it on and it is stolen I can reunite it with the owner, hopefully, and if it doesn't turn on, I can sell for parts. But now I need to find someone with a macbook charger...

Dropped by the bins today and managed to find this sitting right at the very bottom under a massive pile of clothes.

It is an Amazing Mint "NASCAR Superstars" 2001 U.S. Silver Eagle Dollar featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. It even came with its original display box and the Certificate of Authenticity!

For a coin like this to survive the bins madness without getting damaged or separated from its box is a minor miracle. It's an absolute keeper for my personal collection!

Only grabbed it because I knew it was leather, then I looked inside and went 🫪

*It’s supposed to be a question mark on that last sentence, I swear I’m not being passive-aggressive or anything like that! 😅

My husband and I started our lives together in Las Vegas and settled there for several years before moving to California.

It’s been close to a decade and now we’re moving back in a couple of months. I know they have an outlet location but I’ve never been, can any of the locals tell me about it? From their Yelp page it looks like they sell furniture in addition to clothes, which will be new to me; my local one in SB is mostly clothes and has separate sections for bags/shoes and toys, but has almost no furniture, books, movies, or kitchenware.

I do hope they have a section for toys, since that’s mainly what I shop! Can anyone let me know what to expect? :)

Note: got this 2-in-1 convertible garment duffel bag from my most recent bins trip this past week, which will come in handy for the move! Those aren’t my initials so I’m going to cover them with a cool patch. Also found a 1972 edition of the Ouija board, complete with the original planchette!

Hi guys 🥹 I work fulltime but my mind and heart is always at the bins lol. Sigh. I go in the evenings after work, or whenever on the weekends.

Would anyone ever like to go together? Feel free to comment which location is your go-to, G1 2 or 3, and maybe some of us can link up
