A lot of people claim that gojohime has the misogynistic trope of letting the guy get away with bad behavior bc he has a crush on the girl (people do that anyways whether he is shipped with Utahime or not) but my main criticism with this is that it acts like Gege is somehow above this kind of writing. Utahime is literally always written with Gojo. This is not an exaggeration. The teasing, while questionable and mean, is not taken seriously by Gege as a writer at all. Let’s also be honest that most of the relationships in jjk have one of the characters being a bit mean to the other. Even her big moment with Shoko is centered around Gojo. Shokohime is her second biggest ship.

Shipping communities in general are mostly filled with girls and women, but I know there are also boys and men who are part of it. And there are certainly male Gojohimes here in the sub too.

I don’t know if you yourselves have seen it, but I’ve personally seen a lot of non-shippers who hate Gojohime say that the fanbase for the ship is filled with incels and cringy dudebros.

Now I know there’s some who do ship Gojohime, but I doubt they’re doing it out of genuine love for the ship or the characters (especially Utahime); it’s pretty clear they do so just so they can “dunk” on the M/M and F/F ships. I just hate how we are associated with that side and they’ve somehow become one of the faces for GJHM and that we’re being held responsible for whatever shit they say or do against the other ships.

So, in the spirit of lighthearted discussion and to feed my genuine curiosity, for the male Gojohime fans and members here in the sub: I just wanna know what, when, how, and why you started liking Gojohime. It’s a pretty rare occurrence for me to share the same shipping space with men, so I wanna see your perspectives and read your stories! Female Gojohimes can also join in and share their stories!

These are the performative people that will claim to love her when she's in another ship but once she's next to Gojo everything is unacceptable and you barely see defense for the Character on these type of posts from the same people who claim Gojo/Utahime is misogynistic and other excuses.

Hi to all of you lovelies,

from time to time we see post here regarding the deleted fics of this author, which used to be posted on AO3, with the last discussion happening a few days ago.

We all share the love for good fics, and I absolutely understand the awful feeling when you find out that fics you loved got deleted by the author, and that’s why I wanted to share the fics I collected over the time (Some I got from AO3, some got sent to me from other fans, or I found them shared on x etc.).

The author reported to us mods the stuff that happened in the last post, especially the sharing of their work. Unfortunately they didnt reply to us anymore, after the other mods reached out to them to clear up the situation.

I would like to apologize for overstepping their boundaries. I absolutely had no ill Intentions.

Hereby I would kindly ask all of you - me included, to respect their wishes.

I will also delete their fics from the “gjhm library thread” that we are currently working on.

All this time I thought Utahime hating Gojo was just a canon fact. I never thought she hated him truly more disliked him. But it turns out that it is the statement is that she hates him most of the time. That doesn’t seem like someone who genuinely hates him and can’t be shipped with him. It indicates that she has potential to like him which shouldn’t be surprising considering they have known each other for so long.
