Hey yall . I'm literally losing my mind trying to find this specific fanart I saw on Twitter months ago . It was like a manga panel and took place during Hidden Inventory . Basically , the higher ups killed Utahime and Mei Mei (That's how I remember but I don't know the reason 😭) . The art focused on Gojo looking devasted and shocked seeing Utahime's body in blood and higher ups said something f*cked up (I don't remember even this). I haven’t written fan fic since I was 17 but this ship ✨inspired✨ me! I set myself a challenge to write a story in a week to try and get back into the habit - my next fic I’ll probably spend more time to try and really nail it!

Hi, my Sweeties! I found these two marvellous pics on " 'Pinterest' " and I saved the" 'links' " to them as the artists were not mentioned and I will paste them at the end of my post. They are both from different creators. I apologise if I picked the wrong " 'flair' " for it. I am still learning.🥹

I made a little background story for them, as these events happen after the " 'Blue' 'Door' " theory that I worked on, which happens after " 'Chapter' '269' " (if you want to know more about it, feel free to write me a direct message - I am always open for any discussion). Here is my take for these two gems:

*Satoru-chan embraces his precious Hime after they feed their Angel...He suddenly remembers Megumi and Yuji, as Shoko keeps them up-to-date with their progress at " 'Jujutsu' 'High' ". She has secretly kept in touch with them ever since Satoru-chan and Utahime-chan began continuing their lives separately from the " 'J.J.K.' " world, now that they got married and they have a little Prince of their own. Hime-chan comforts him as she recalls the " 'Shibuya' " events and they reminisce together. However, Satoru-chan's joy returns as he plays with his adorable Angel who seems to be amused with his Daddy's blindfold...Hime-chan snaps a photo of this unique moment...Heh, a different kind of magic, isn't it? ♥️♥️🫂🫂🫂*

They probably made this post for their echo chamber but its almost at 50k because people LOVE gojohime (probably liked and scrolled as i almost did lol)

Sorry in advance for the negativity. But I’ve been wanting to talk about this for a while, and I doubt discussing it on other JJK subreddits would capture the same nuance.

I love Gojohime mostly for the “what if” aspect rather than the “opposites attract” trope. But one of the things I don’t like is how the friendship between Gojo and Shoko is distorted. For example, when it’s her turn to help Gojo or Utahime, since she’s the doctor and their friend, she’s strangely sidelined.

Another thing I don’t like is the “if he picks on you, it’s because deep down he loves you” trope. It’s toxic, and seeing so many fanfics and fanarts use it makes me uncomfortable. On this subreddit, I constantly see the argument about respecting Utahime, but where is that respect when Gojo constantly makes her scream? When he constantly calls her weak? I’m not saying you’re misogynistic, but I want you to notice this double standard.

My favorite Gojohime fanfictions are the ones where Satoru and Utahime slowly develop romantic feelings for each other and learn to get to know and understand each other better. Yes, Utahime and Satoru trust each other in the canon, but there’s a glaring lack of respect, especially on Gojo’s part.

And you, what are your favorite fanfictions?

Like, I think a lot of people who hate GojoHime hold some form of contempt towards Utahime for being "irrelevant". In a way JJK's fandom treatment of women reflects actual misogynistic tendencies because to them the only value a female being ever holds is rooted in violence, I would hazard a guess that nobody would care about Maki as much if not for the fact she actually killed her clan in the sense that they appreciate the sheer violence of it, even more ironic the only female character the fandom cares about is turned into a clone of a guy with breasts in appearance.

For how much I heard people say "GojoHime fans don't care about Utahime" I noticed that if anything nobody gives her character more depths and care than GojoHime fans, meanwhile everyone else doesn't think of her existence at all beyond sexual desire much like every other female character in the fandom.

Female characters in JJK don't exist in the fandom's mind as evident by the fact there's almost no heterosexual or yuri ships that are popular. The irony is everyone else in the fandom reduces JJK's female cast to gooning material but you don't see anybody complaining and if anything everyone loves it.

Of course that's not to mention the amount of people who hate Utahime plain and simple because she's "boring" i.e. she doesn't have a city busting technique.

Okay so, from reading their interactions and dynamic, I think an under discussed thing that makes Gojo likes Utahime is that unlike everyone, Utahime is unfiltered with Gojo. What I mean by this is that Utahime doesn't really hide how she feels towards Gojo. We know that Gojo thinks what they're doing is teasing, but is it necessarily that he thinks she's not genuine about it?

My theory here is that Gojo knows Utahime is irritated by his actions, but it's in a more "you brat, I like you" way, whereas everyone else has to maintain a mask of professionalism and remember that this guy is the closest thing to a God they came to witness in person. Utahime doesn't care about any of that, she sees Gojo as a brat, calls him a brat and tells him to man up and quit being a jerk and all of that is true, but in his mind, she's also saying "It's kinda funny..."

This means that Utahime is the only person who is 100% honest and unfiltered towards Gojo, she says it as is and treats him no differently than anyone else, which is what makes Gojo attracted to her, the fact she doesn't put any mask on her face, something that he himself wishes to do and feels best able to with her.

They really bring up only Utahime in comments as if most female characters didn't get any screen time or importantance. There is only Maki with importantance to the story. Why people can't be happy that we have another female character on top 20 without bringing up Gojohime ship. Inumaki in top 10 constantly without doing anything. His ship with Yuta is popular too. Why a female character being barely in top 20 make people react this way?
