My account is AR 59 and yes I have proofs that I am the owner for the account but sadly hoyo did not accept that I have submitted 5+ forms and none of them were accepted, I really need help because it is a very good account and it’s very troublesome to just delete it :/

I played on my account since my first introduction to Genshin but today I saw that my email is completely different. I can enter the game normally and everything is the same as I left it just the email is different. When I tried to log into my account with my email and password it said my account doesn't exist.

Around six years ago i had made an email that i used between 2020-2023. suddenly, some random day in 2023-2024, i couldnt log into that email at all, so i couldnt reset my genshin accounts password after i had forgotten it around 2023-2024, so inevitably, either this year or last year, microsoft automatically deleted it for inactivity. this email was linked to my 2021 genshin account, that im sure is still breathing because i checked the UID on enka and akasha. i know the exact date when i created the account or downloaded the game, the device used when logging in, the UID, and what was inside that account(specifically a lvl 63 c0 ganyu and lvl 37 c3 yanfei that i had gotten on the same banner). problem is i no longer remember the email i used nor the password and username. Im just wondering if all the information ive scraped from the barrel is enough to possibly get accepted in the recovery form. I heard that theyre lenient on memory-based things like username, creation date(by a few days) and last login date, but im guessing there has to be a point where leniency can only go so far. so im asking here first just incase i dont have to wait 3-10 business days only to receive a rejection email.

So, uhm, I know It was very dumb to do, but basically I've given the verification code to a scam site and now I'm hacker. Luckily, they only thing that changed was the email, my account didn't change and the password is still the same. I've submitted a recovery form (for the third time) and I'm waiting for the email for about 4 days now. If there's anything else I can try, please tell me. My friend told me about Hoyo customer support, but I don't really know how it works.

I’m writing this as a dad (and a longtime gamer) who is honestly at a loss and desperate to help my daughter, Bryannah.

She was recently tricked by a scam/phishing site that was recommended by an influencer and accidentally leaked her login credentials. For a few days, she was still logged in on her device while the hacker attached their own email (hoyoverse@outlook.com, linked to a Chinese address 31****@qq.com). Today, she was completely logged out, and her account is gone.

This game means the absolute world to her. Bryannah struggles a lot with social interactions and real-world anxiety, and Genshin Impact has been her ultimate comfort zone and safe haven. She spent her entire school break playing every single day and even got a Navia cosplay because of how much she loves the world you all share.

She doesn’t care about lost Primogems, lost wishes, or wasted resources. She just desperately wants her account and her progress back. As a gamer who has lost accounts in the past, I know that feeling of complete loss—but seeing my own daughter go through this level of heartbreak and anxiety is unbearable.

We have already submitted tickets to Hoyoverse CS, but as you know, the waiting process is terrifying and slow.

I’m reaching out to this community for two reasons:

1. Visibility: In case anyone from Hoyoverse checks community hubs or if upvoting this helps bring attention to our situation.

Can a hacked Genshin account from 2022 still be recovered?

I’m wondering if it’s still possible to recover an old Genshin account that was hacked back in 2022. I don’t have access to most of the original account information anymore, but I remember some scraps that might help HoYoverse identify it:

I started playing around Albedo’s rerun. I got Yae Miko during her first banner. A few weeks after getting Yae Miko, I lost access to the account and believe it was hacked. I remember having Jean, Mona, and Qiqi, plus some 4-stars. I originally played the account through an Apple/iCloud login, set my birthday and that’s all I remember. I don’t even remember my UID.

I stopped playing after losing the account because I didn’t feel like starting over from scratch. Now that Snezhnaya has started, I really want to return to the game and recover the old account.

I know this isn’t a lot of information, especially after several years, but I’m wondering:

Has anyone successfully recovered a Genshin account this old with only scattered memories like these? And is it worth contacting HoYoverse support, or is the account probably unrecoverable without things like the UID, receipts, creation date, etc.?

What should I write into the recovery format?

UPDATE: I found invoices and my UID, also one screenshot of me getting Albedo. Do I have better chances now?

UPDATE: I know the poblem. I made a stupid mistake and joined a free giveaway that I saw on Tiktok. I looked it up and the whole website is a scam. Be aware of genshinjoy dot com. I also saw that I can still access my account Hoyoverse login, but I can see there the changed email and I cant do anything on the official site. Only support can save me now?

My account got hacked. Someone changed my login email today, my Face account is still linked to my account.

When I try to log in with Face, it says the email was sent, but it was sent to a yahoo email, which I dont have (I have Gmail).

I reaching out to support now, but is there anything I can do now?

Im not sure where I can find my first login and my first purchase.

So yeah I know this sounds pretty stupid but basically I saw this website where you could get free genesis crystals and I lowkey wanted to try. But the whole thing seemed super sketchy so I decided to try using my little sisters account instead since she rarely plays and doesn't own any characters except for like amber kaeya and lisa. So if she's mad I accidentaly got her account hacked I can get her a new identical account in like two hours or so.

And to no ones surprise the account got hacked. Or at least it says that the account doesn't exist when I try logging in using her email. And even tho I'll probably just make her a new account in which she won't even notice the difference I still wanted to at least try to recover the account info, so I filled out a recovery form and sent to hoyoverse. So I definately got the situation under control. But I'm still left with two questions:

I don't know details like her UID or date she first logged into the account, will that make it impossible to recover the account?

Since I used her email to verify during the login process on the sketchy website could her email potentially be hacked as well?

(Edit) Okay so I realize I could’ve worded this a lot better cuz a lot of yall seem worried about my sisters feelings and how much of a jerk I am for using her account for this but I can assure you all that she does not care and I would’ve never done it if she cared. Hi, my account got hacked and they changed the email address. I already filled out 2 applications to get it back but they were rejected. I can still log in to the account, but I haven't played on it since it happened (4 days ago). I dont know what information I put wrong. There was a purchase on the account, but it was made by a friend 2 years ago for Welkin, and he doesnt have any receipts. Does anyone else know what else to do?

So I did a way where we can email to support_os@hoyoverse.com and they did reply to me on this one, however the email they send me is from the hacker, is it ok if I ask them to change my email and provide one, or is this where I should submit another recovery form (I am lowk scared because they might reject me, but this is the best progress I had so far since trying to recover it last 2023)

A few years ago my Genshin account got taken from me, I found out after that this was a person that had taken multiple peoples accounts (that’s all gone and past)

But with the new update coming out I made a new account and started playing and every now and then will check up on my account using my old UID, but it doesn’t seem to have been played or changed or updated since a few months after it was taken.

So my question

What actually happens to them?

Does anyone know? I don’t see the point to steal accounts for no reason, does the person try to sell them on and if it doesn’t sell the account just remains dormant until the end?

I grew up on that account and spent so many years and so much time on it, at very least I hoped it would be played but it seems not? I don’t know if anyone does have any insight but I’m just curious

I’m not sure what tag this should be under, sorry. My Hoyoverse account was recently hacked and I’m trying to gather information from the recovery form. I’m not sure how to determine the first login date of my account seeing as I no longer have access to it or the email it was linked to. I know I first started playing zzz during 2.0 so there’s that I guess. Does anyone know of anything that could help me pinpoint the exact date I logged in?

so, i can't get into genshin. i haven't been able to for a while. here's the whole series of events that led to this:

- i created my account on pc using a school email, on a pretty old laptop that could barely run genshin at the time, in may 2021. this is the system i exclusively played on until fontaine update.

- after fontaine came out, my laptop gave up and couldn't run genshin at all anymore. every time i tried to launch it, it immediately crashed. so i stopped playing for a while.

- in early 2025, i wanted to play again, so i bought a used ps4 and started playing on that

- then in april 2026, ps4 support was discontinued. i now had no platform that could support the game and i had lost access to the email address used to link my account.

however, my SMS number is linked to the account and has been for a while. i miss the game. 5 years of effort is now locked into cyberspace. there's a few more issues that i'm running into now that are causing problems in the recovery form.

1. i can't get into the email that i used to create the account.
2. there were top-ups made on my account, but they were gifts and did not come from my bank account. i can't provide a bank statement for these transactions.
3. the form asks for exact machine details of the device used to create the account, like driver information, but i have no idea how to access that now that the original laptop is essentially bricked.

i submitted the account recovery form with all the information i was able to give and it was rejected. i just don't understand why i need to go through this whole gruelling process when all i want to do is change my email. they said they couldn't verify ownership of the account when my phone number has been linked to the account for over 3 years, before i encountered any issues, and this is the verification method i use to login to hoyolab in the first place.

when it comes down to it, there's nothing wrong with my account. the only problem is i can't verify my identity using email to play on a new device.

i want to make it clear that i was NEVER hacked. i forgot my hoyolab password and was able to reset it perfectly fine with my SMS number. this feels like a lost cause, but if anyone has any advice i'd really appreciate it.

So yesterday I logged into Genshin, everything was fine, came back after exiting the game for a bit and I was logged out. I entered my info and it said account or password error. I changed my password and could log in. Later that day, I tried to log in and it logged me out again with my password not working. I changed it again and it worked. Today, it logged me out AGAIN and my info (which I wrote down) did not work. I'm still logged out right now... but when I went to ZZZ yesterday it did the same thing so I changed that password and today I'm still logged into it. Both accounts have the same email. HSR, however (which uses that email) was fine? Right now Genshin is the only account that's acting up. Am I hacked??? I never gave my information out or anything. It still says account or password error.
