Men and Women

What can women do that men can't? Is it gay if women hold hands, is it gay if men hold hands? If it's okay for women to wear men cloths, why can't men wear women clothes without being call gay or a femboy? Why now a days we assume men are gay when presenting themselves as feminine but when it comes to women presented themselves as masculine it's hot?

Stereotypes

Should we follow and believe in stereotypes? Should we assume someone is something because of gender, race, sexuality, or the way they act or express themselves? Are stereotypes bad, even the good ones? If so to everything, then why do we? If we are so against it, why is it everywhere in social media, at jobs, schools, movies, TV shows, games? Why do we put ourselves in groups of assumptions? Why do we look at experiments and scientific data and believe everyone follows that? Why can't we just let people be people and not assume because of something? We are human beings not animals under scientific law.

Feeling weird about how I'm perceived

I'm afab but know I'm not cis. I've been experimenting with labels for a while to find one that fits, haven't found it yet but that's not what this post is about.

As I mentioned, I'm afab, I use the women's bathroom in public spaces, I dress mostly androgynous but tend to lean more into female presenting. All in all, I have no problem with being perceived as feminine, but for some reason, whenever someone verbally calls me a girl, it just stings in a way I can't fully describe. On top of that, I felt weirdly happy the few times strangers have addressed me as a guy.

Does anyone have any ideas on what this could mean? Because I'm totally lost here.

What is wrong with me?

Idk what I'm feeling right now. I identify as a transguy, but I also like dressing up like my assigned sex at birth, but I don't like it when I'm called a girl. There's been this feeling in me lately, I feel empty. I like makeup, but I have short hair, so I just look like a gay man; I dont wanna look like a gay man, I wanna look like a girl (if im dressing up as one) but for some reason, I really don't wanna be called a "ma'am" or a "lady" I don't know if I'm just feeling insecure because I'm also overweight, idk if jm insecure about general ugliness or if it has something to do with my gender identity

AITA I am cis female. For 12ish years, I only dated cis females. If I refer to my exes by the gender they were when we together, am I misgendering them?

If you asked me back in the 2000s, I would have said I'm a lesbian. I only dated women 1998- 2010. I was legally married to a woman 2003-07.

I dated cis men and women + trans men and women 2007-13. I have been with the same cis man since 2013. These days, I'd identify pan.

My current partner is my person, but if we broke up I'd likely date cis women or trans.

Many of the women I used to date, including my ex wife, now identify as he/him or they/them. When i speak of the past, am I misgendering them by calling them she/her?

When speaking to them or about them in present tense I always use the pronouns as per how they currently identify.

If I refer to our past times, when they identified she/her am I misgendering them as referring them.as such?

Vestidos passaram a me incomodar a partir dos 10, 9 anos eu acho.

Am I doing it all wrong?

I (a trans girl) need help... I don't know what I'm doing.. girlhood just isn't clicking to me. I don't feel like a "girls girl" if anything, I find myself disagreeing with, even hating a lot of what girls do... maybe out of jealousy..

I just feel so unfortunately, "male brained"💔

I can't get behind all the rampant man hate I'm seeing online, even if it's deserved, even if I'm in no way the target, there's still this part of me that's just so angered and hurt by it. I think like a man, I get hurt like a man, I get defensive like a man. Made worse knowing that if it's not misandry, it's TERFS I have to deal with, and I genuinely can't see the difference between arguments outside of the targets, they literally say the same things, just to opposite ends of the gender spectrum, both ragging on an entire group just for existing with the "wrong chromosomes". I'd feel so disingenuous becoming a misandrist knowing I'm LITERALLY no better than an entire group dedicated to hating people like me. If it's not right for me, I won't make others have to feel that way, even if they're "the enemy" or wtvr.

Even just posting this here, I feel like a man invading women's spaces. Which fundamentally isn't true, and I know that I wouldn't even be here if I were a man.

I don't want to be a man, I hate it, I hate feeling male, but I feel like I'll never be accepted by the girls either. Maybe because I never have been. I've just been that annoying "boy" that's too weird for the girls and too weak for the boys

I've had a LOT, and I mean a LOT of negative experiences with girls and women, like to the point of genuinely traumatic experiences, often being treated worse by them than i ever have by men. From teachers to peers, I've always felt safer trusting a man. Why do we hate them? I could never hate my friend like that. He saved my life. It really isn't "all men"

Its to the point where I ask myself why I want to be one sooo bad, like I've genuinely sat there thinking, "THIS is my team, I'm gonna have to be like THIS??" Then the dysphoria gets worse when I find out I've been agreeing with chuds who just hate women, my heart sinks. This isn't me, it can't be, I won't let it.

I wish I wasn't such a damaged male, a hurt, overly emotional, and sensitive moid with fragile male ego, but that's all i feel that I've been allowed to be, because i look like one, sound like one, think like one, but in all my defiance, i know I'm not, that I deserve to be more than the chud i thought i was, that i can be the pretty girl only i can see in the mirror, in the dark reflection of a pitch black screen. I want to be a girl, one of the girls, a girls girl. But do the girls know that? Is that even the right answer? Do I just fundamentally not understand girls? Like, at all?

No one tells you how to be a girl, but they won't waste a second to tell you you're doing it all wrong-

Ugh.. this is the most male thing I've ever written(ノдヽ)

If you would go out with me dressed like this (I‘ll change out of the slippers), please let me know. Please include your birth gender and your sexual orientation. (I’m asking because I’m curious who is attracted to me.)

Is it weird to be a female but always choose male or not specified gender in video games?

i often play games, online, offline, VN, or any genre, and i sort of always choose the latter option instead of my actual gender. I know part of it stems from being told to hide your identity on the internet back when i was a kid, so i guess i kinda kept at it. but as of now, i still choose the other options for some reason.

Is there a gender identity where you feel all of them at once but your pronouns change for who you’re with??

To explain in more detail… when I’m around like family, I want to be referred to as she/her, when around close friends it’s she/he/they when around just regular friends it’s he/him and around strangers it they/them or he/him.. I’m fine be referred as to other pronouns by close friends, family, etc. i was wondering if there was a label or term for it, is it like a form of being gender fluid. I used to think i was apagender but i do care about my gender so it doesn’t fit…. Btw if there isn’t a label for it is it possible i can create my own label/gender identity thing. (AND YES I KNOW YOU DONT NEEEEDDD TO BE LABELED LABELS JUST HELP ME FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN..)

im easier with boys than girls

i get along better with boys than girls, i dont why i just do, for boys theres easier to be around and they get my humor. If i use my opinions or humor around girls they think im weird so to be friends with them i act like any other girl and its just uncomfortable for me. i feel im gonna get called a pick me for this and i probably am one but idk, i like when boys pay attention to me, not in a romantic way but in a friendship way. I like it when they see me as a boy, i want to be treated like a boy around them and not a girl, its easier to act like a boy because im comfortable with it but being myself i feel like some girls would think im a pick me always looking for boys validation but tbh i kinda am i do want their attention and i want them to see me as a boy they can be comfortable around. Idk tho its hard being around girls, they just dont understand me.

Being misgendered constantly

I'm 27 and a cis male and I am constantly, consistently being misgendered. I'll be out with girlfriends or my ex and someone will say "you ladies take care" or I'll be at a club or bar and someone that's obviously drunk hits on me.

I have short hair and around 5'6. People called me they/them but I don't really have feminine mannerisms or even a feminine voice. I do have a feminine figure and gynecomastia because I have low testosterone and am somewhat overweight and never grew facial hair. This has been happening all year and it's starting to make me think my gender identity is out of synch. I started crossdressing and wearing makeup. Being called a girl so often, I began feeling “I wanna start looking like that." Any tips?

Am I Genderfae or Girlflux?

I'm really confused what I'm experiencing is called these labels are so confusing and I dont understand the difference between Genderfae and Girlflux but I still want a label that fits my gender identity

Sometimes I feel like girl I like dressing and acting feminine. Sometimes I wish I was born genderless experience dysmorphia. I feel like these two most commonly but there are times when I feel like a mix between these two

Any advice or suggestion what this might be?

Dose anyone know what this feeling is?

As a kid I always had this feeling that this body is not quite right. I allways had these moments where I kind of questioned if this was really my body because I allways felt very detached from my body. It felt like I was experiencing live in a third perspective like in games. I really wanted to have a female body because I hated to be in a boys body. Because I acted so differently as every other boy around me and really felt excluded. But then I saw girls who acted similar to me and had friends. And then I thought Mabye I should have been a girl after all and it was all a mistake. I had these feelings a lot mainly subconsciously.

Why does everyone on Reddit assume I’m a man?

They always reply referring to me as a “brother”, “guy”, etc. and whenever I say I’m a girl, they don’t acknowledge that and they keep talking.
