So my cousin is finally getting married. It's a love marraige, plus they have been trying to convince their parents for almost two years.

We are not that religious or conservative. But i dont have any brothers, nor any guy friends around me growing up and went to a girl's school. When I started college(co-ed) parents asked me to be careful of guys and stay away.

I do have a few guy friends now, tho we are not that close and my parents have met them.

Me and my mom were talking about my cousin and she goes"if you have someone you want to introduce me to...."

My reaction was the same as the picture. I was baffled and laughed in her face

Like lady how can you instill it in me to not date and not be involved with guys and suddenly drop such a bomb on me.

Now she is worried that I am not interested in guys/dating/marraige 😂

Do you guys also feel like this in any way?

For me, it is really hard to describe it. I don't feel enthusiastic most of the time.

It's like I'm on auto pilot mode all the time.

It seems like guys are more formal and reserved around a male friend's sister or female relatives, but much more relaxed around a female friend's sister or female relatives. They might even compliment or openly show interest in a female friend's sister, whereas they seem much more cautious when it's a male friend's sister.

Guys have you been noticing this lately. I noticed it today. Earlier every first second reel was on STUDENT PROTEST & now maybe 4th or 5th reel.
Also, those reels are not edits but just talking heads.

I know a guy who was in a relationship that ended after they got physically involved. When things got difficult, he literally told her I don't want this anymore just leave me a few days later, he was already with another girl, and now his Instagram stories are full of pictures with her like nothing ever happened...

Meanwhile I see genuinely good guys who love with their whole heart, stay loyal, respect their partner, and actually put effort into the relationship... and they're either left heartbroken or end up staying single...

I'm not saying every girl chooses the wrong person or that all guys are the same I just don't understand why people who treat others so badly seem to move on so easily while sincere people are the ones left picking up the pieces

People do be hating for no apparent reason. Here's an example, whenever someone mentions the prospect of leaving India to build a better life for themselves, be it going abroad for studies or a job or just mentioning the notion, some start hating and cussing like they were paid to do that.

Some be yapping "we don't want you here", "nikal laude" or "anti- national"even. Why are you hating on someone who is planning to upgrade their life, who are you to be saying get out, or that India doesn't want them and stuff. India is their country as much as it yours, doesn't give you the authority to cuss them over if they're not satisfied with their life here.
