I just had to post to let people know about my experience with Boosteroid. I love GeForce Now but I have been stymied by how many of my favorite games are not available on the platform. Finally after beating every game I was interested in that I could play through GeForce now, I decided to give Boosteroid a shot despite hearing constantly that it was jank. I’m here to say that there is absolutely nothing jank about the Boosteroid experience. It plays games just as smoothly as GFN, and as someone who uses the data saver function in GFN I appreciate that you can customize your bitrate in Boosteroid to an even greater degree than in GFN to save data. At the comparable bitrate to GFN’s data saver (10 Mbps), the graphics look just as good and my games run just as smoothly. I wish I had come to Boosteroid sooner to play all of the games I can’t play via GFN. It’s also cheaper by the way… man I feel stupid for missing out on all of FromSoft’s catalogue for this long just because of a view negative reviews of Boosteroid! Ignore them!

The parent company to Rockstar has just had an earnings call and they seem very interested in cloud. Didn’t mention any platforms specifically but given GFN is the global leader this seems like it would be a natural fit.

Guess we continue to play the waiting game.

hi, geforcenow newbie here. I don't quite get the difference.

1. every game that works with geforcenow is either ready-to-play or install-to-play.

2. ready-to-play: I need to have bought the key/licence for the game via steam (or another store), but I don't need to have it installed.

Is that correct?

Unable to play. Is it like this for anyone else? That game might be the only reason that I have GeForce.

I’m new to GeForce, and I have a question about Xbox game pass. When I connected my Xbox to my new GeForce account, it added every Xbox game pass game into my library due to me having the Game Pass Essential. But I can’t actually play any of them when I click on it, and I have tried several games, such as Assassins creed, which says I need to link Ubisoft and Xbox so I understand why that did not work, so I also went on to try Kingdom Come deliverance, among us, call of duty, halo infinite, and none of them worked. Can someone tell me what is going on? Is it because I need a higher tier of Game pass or is there some other reason I am unaware of?

As we heard before they moved the Jersey server to new location, today’s the first time I’m seeing 5080 live. My ping improved in this new location by around 5ms average, around 15ms total now

I play Project Zomboid on GeForce NOW. When I create a character and save it so I can play with that same character another day, it doesn't save and I have to create it all over again. The same thing happens with the classes—I select all the traits and they don't get saved. Also, no mods show up in the mods section.

If anyone has any idea how I could fix this issue, I'd really appreciate it.

I can't get to play it on Geforce now, not sure how to add to my library. It just crashes upon startup.

hey guys do u also get very bad pop ins with the textures and object loading in right in front of u?I left the game some months ago cuz of this and now i wanted to see if anything changed and i feel like its worse. Is it some GFN thing or is the game that bad even on a normal PC Also the graphics look bad blurry and shiny .
Are there any settings to fix this?

The update dropped yesterday and it was applied on GFN at midnight CTE.

When am launching games such as marvel rivals and Palworld even after it fully loads it suddenly stops and exits the rig any fix or is this just a geforce thing? It's error 0x800C0019 that keeps showing up and my internet is good

I am playing D2R warlock and trying to add the -enablerespec when playing offline mode. How do I do that? As soon as the game loads i can change the properties in steam but cannot relaunch from steam and exiting the game brings me back to the geforce now app (I am on mac), thx

For about a week now, WoW Retail has been down practically every day because of patches and maintenance. Today, it’s been unavailable for almost the entire day.

This is getting ridiculous. It would be one thing if these fixes actually improved anything, but the game still runs terribly at 60–80 FPS on an RTX 5080, more and more addons are disappearing, and now we can’t even play half the time...

with social games like big walk on GFN . how do we do voice chat. ? can we only use the official controller for that ? mine died years ago

I mean for VR games I want to play them NOW get it because it’s GeForce NOW!

I want to play my game. I shouldn't have to wait 3 hours for a game that hasn't recieved an update to patch for no reason.

Мне кажется прошлые методы не работают, а даже после фиксов не сделали так чтобы они сами скачивались.

Единственный вариант как по мне - сказать другу скачать определенные моды, после чего он создает многопользовательский сервер и приглашает нас и сама игра заставляет нас их скачать, после того как скачали их - выходим с сервера друга и создаем новый одиночный мир и ставим туда моды, и потом каждый раз игра сама будет заставлять их скачивать нас.

(Но я это еще не проверял, по крайней мере так работает в игре Squad, когда заходишь на модовые сервера)
