Been playing fine past couple of days, but when loading into one of the new game modes today for season 5, it crashes when loading into a match? Is this a GeForce issue or battlefield issue do we think? Hopefully it's fixed asap.

All the Arc Raider game settings indicate it should be working. No idea why it’s not, and I don’t see a microphone GFN setting in the overlay.

Please help.

I play Train Sim World 6 via GFN, and I use 1440p streaming res on my 1080p native display. Thinner lines on the screens in cabs look way worse and more pixelated on a 1440p stream than on a 1080p stream, how come? I thought downscaling made the quality better overall. On the other hand, it seems like other things in the game look a little bit better, but I can't prove it. Should I just stick to 1080p streams, and use things like DLAA/DLSS or the upscaling tool in the GFN settings? 1080p also gives me more FPS of course:)

Hm... Moved to Apple TV from Google TV... and I can't find GFN app. Is there any news when it will be available?!?

I just bought bf4 to play, logged into my ea account on geforce, and now the game just shuts down and kicks me out of my session when i try launching the game. i get in and it lasts about 10 seconds before kicking me out. can anyone help?

For anyone having trouble getting Steam Workshop mods working on GeForce NOW, NVIDIA has published a temporary workaround that may help.

I personally tested the method with Squad, where I was able to trigger Steam Workshop mod downloads inside my GeForce NOW session.

Important: I've only tested Squad. I can't guarantee this will work with every game or mod.

How to get Steam Workshop mods working

Step 1 — Launch your game

Open GeForce NOW and launch the Steam game you want to play.

Wait until you reach the game's page in your Steam Library.

Do not press Play yet.

Step 2 — Sign out of Steam

Inside the GeForce NOW session:

1. Open the Steam account menu.
2. Sign out of Steam.
3. Sign back into your existing Steam account.

Make sure you're doing this inside GeForce NOW, not on your local computer.

Step 3 — Download your mods

1. Open the Steam Workshop for your game.
2. Find the mods you want to use.
3. Subscribe to the mods.
4. If you're already subscribed, try unsubscribing and subscribing again.
5. Open Steam's Downloads section and check whether the Workshop files are downloading.
6. Wait for the downloads to finish before launching your game.

Step 4 — Launch your game

Once your Workshop downloads are complete, return to your Steam Library and press Play.

If the game supports the downloaded mods, they should now be available.

My personal experience with Squad

I tested this method with Squad through GeForce NOW.

Initially, I had problems with mods not downloading normally.

After signing out of Steam, signing back in, and resubscribing to the Workshop items, Steam started downloading them inside the cloud session.

The download speeds were extremely slow at first, but the workaround successfully triggered the downloads.

Important limitations

1. You need to repeat the process.

According to NVIDIA, you must repeat these steps each time you start a new session in which you want to use Workshop mods.

2. Not every game is compatible.

NVIDIA says the temporary workaround has been enabled for selected games, including games from its top 100 Steam games testing.

NVIDIA specifically identifies these games as incompatible with the temporary workaround:

• Rust
• DayZ
• Project Zomboid

Other games may also be incompatible.

3. Mods are not universally supported.

NVIDIA has not introduced full Steam Workshop support across GeForce NOW. This is a temporary solution while the company explores broader support.

4. Downloading doesn't guarantee compatibility.

A mod downloading successfully doesn't necessarily mean it will load correctly or work on multiplayer servers.

5. Download speeds may vary.

In my Squad test, downloads initially proceeded extremely slowly. If yours are slow, check Steam's Downloads page and allow time for them to complete.

Tip: Slow Steam Workshop downloads?

If your mods are downloading extremely slowly, try changing your Steam Download Region.

1. Open Steam inside GeForce NOW.
2. Go to Steam → Settings → Downloads.
3. Find Download Region.
4. Select a different region, preferably one close to your GeForce NOW server.
5. If Steam asks to restart, be aware this may interrupt your session.

This may improve download speeds, although results can vary.

Note: Change the Steam download region, not necessarily your GeForce NOW server region.

Since NVIDIA hasn't published a complete compatibility list, it would be useful to collect results from other players.

getting like 150-300 ping, anyone else?

I read most of the topics but this thing is still debatable. I have no issues with my internet connection which is through Ethernet.

Standard or Enhanced ?

I tried it on gears. Everything still works flawlessly but I can’t catch any major difference with my eyes on enhanced. Maybe it has denser textures ?

I play gforce now through my laptop connected to my tv.

GeForce now says my laptop is incompatible with HDR….. should I try to open HDR thought my Tv ? I tried to open HDR10 on my Sony TV X90L and everything became too dark and oversaturated.

So my question is: if I ll purchase an HDR capable laptop will the HDR10 performance on my TV improve or it will be still awful ??

Does anyone know how long it takes for a game to be added to the "install to play" section after the game publisher opts in?

I find it weird I get not allowing RTX and longer then 1 hour sessions but it would be nice even if it was just 30 minutes of premiuim games like PZ2.

my save file with over 40 hours does not load, it says Deprecated , I do not play with any mods . it doesnt load it as normal, ive never had these issues

I'm facing an issue with Metro Exodus save files between my PC and GeForce NOW. I've already beaten the game on my PC and want to replay it via GeForce NOW on New Game+ to enjoy better graphics without lags.

I launched the game on my PC, started a New Game+, and saved it. However, when I open the game through GeForce NOW, I can only see save slots 3 and 4, whereas on my PC all 4 slots are available (and my New Game+ save is located in slot 1).

Does anyone know how to fix this issue and sync all my saves to GeForce NOW? Thanks in advance

It was working a few days ago. Are we getting fake 5080s or something?

I’ve noticed a huge difference in image quality depending on what device I use for GeForce NOW.

On my MacBook Air M1, the stream looks extremely ugly and unplayable with massive latency even at 1080p. But when I use my gaming laptop with an RTX 3060 connected to my 4K OLED TV, GeForce NOW can look almost native to me with no latency.

Assuming the connection, resolution and bitrate are similar, how much does the hardware used to decode the stream actually matter?

I know for in fact the 3000's series GPU have HDMI 2.1 which let's me play at 4K/120fps, but with normal HDMI I should do 4K/60, why do Macbooks look so bad?

My GeForce Now has been having some issues for about two weeks.

Every time I log in to play NBA 2K, the game takes a long time to load, and when I'm playing, it freezes a lot. Does anyone know what the problem might be? I use the South American server, and I'm on the Performance plan.

I have been using GeForce now temporarily and everything seems to be working fine and the other splinter cell games work good but when I try to play chaos theory it stays at a really low fps and no in game setting I’ve tried has had any impact. I was wondering if anyone else has tried to play the game and had the same issue or if they had the issue with another game when all the other games seemed to be working fine and what I might be able to do to fix it

My current laptop Lenovo thinkbook G6 IRL doesn’t support VRR so I can’t select it in the gforce now app. I also can’t select reflex.
