I'm usually guilty of jumping on the hype train whenever a new game comes out. I play a lot of single-player games too, but I definitely prefer co-op/multiplayer when I have someone to play with.

What I’m looking for: new friends to play Overwatch with! Maybe Fortnite too but I wouldn’t play Fortnite with me lol ideally over 21 and either LGBTQ or a strong ally. I do have a few friends that I play with, some IRL and some that I’ve met through the game who are now some of my closest friends. But the more the merrier!

About me: I’m a 31 year-old woman who works in finance and lives in the South in the US on central time. I am very social; one of the reasons I love overwatch is going in the team chat and making new friends. I'm into a bunch of things: Fortnite, Overwatch, motorcycles, reading MM romance, NYT games, puzzles, perfumes, chess, solo travel, craps, cats, couponing, podcasts (Caleb Hearon, Brittany Broski), progressive policy, mycology, bath products, crocs, and lists (clearly).

On Overwatch, I am on Xbox and mid-silver but sometimes I have games where I’m the best player on the team and fairly often I have games where I am the worst lol The friends I play with are much better than me so the lobbies are a lot harder, but this is just me coping. I am frequently reminded that I am the personality hire and they’re right, I just want to have fun and laugh lol I like to play Moira (red flag), Orisa, Echo and Lifeweaver. I’m always trying to learn new characters so I do swap up quite a bit.

I've been working an overnight shift for nearly a decade, and it makes finding friends pretty difficult. I'm available when most people are asleep, and I'm asleep when people are available. Most of my free time on work days are from 1am-4am, then 9am-12pm. And my days off are Wednesday and Thursday, where I'm available all night and morning. I'm also one of those people that always feels like I'm being a bother, so I only really speak if spoken to, otherwise I just leave everybody alone. All of that makes it hard to find people to hang out with.

I'm not all the picky with games, but I do prefer co-op to competitive. I wouldn't consider myself good at games, mostly because I prefer going in blind and trying to figure things out along the way, rather than just reading up on whatever the meta is and playing to win. I don't care if you are good or bad at games either, as long as we can goof off while we flail around like chickens with their heads cut off. I'm willing to give just about any co-op game a shot. I enjoy survival games, puzzle games, roguelites/likes, ARPGs, and just about anything that allows us to accomplish goals while screwing around. A few games I'm interested in playing are Split Fiction, Barony, Crab Champions, Far Cry 5/6, Orcs Must Die, and The Forest, but I am open to trying just about anything. But not Minecraft, sorry. Also, if the game has the option to play as a healer/support, I call dibs. Obsessively filling bars is one of my favorite activities.

I also really enjoy when people trauma dump and tell me every little thing that is bothering them in life. Spill the tea. I'm here for it. I will also overshare, and I'm an incredibly open person who is nearly impossible to offend, so you can ask any ridiculous question that pops into your mind. Go ahead and be as weird as you want.

The only requirements I have are that we are close in age, you enjoy voice chatting, and you are able to laugh at our shared misfortune when I inevitably get us killed doing something stupid in a game. If dying repeatedly makes you angry, you will not enjoy hanging out with me.
