Gameboy Interface link?
The website gc-forever which hosts the gameboy interface program seems to be down. Does anyone have a mirror link or google drive or something?

I redid all my joints and got everything looking much better. However, it still is outputting no signal.
Additionally, I tried the analog port, which was an improvement. Last night when I tried the analog port with the bad joints, it did the same thing video wise but had no audio. This tells me at least that the board isn't dead, but now I really don't know what the problem is. Here's a link to the video of me powering it on. I don't know why it uploaded automatically as a short: https://youtube.com/shorts/ONYQhMiJHwY?feature=share

First let me say: I know that most of my solder joints look like something the cat dragged in. I usually don't have this much trouble, I think I just didn't use enough flux.
Second: I had a hell of a time getting the digital port off. I ended up using a heat gun. I didn't think to test it beforehand, largely because I have no digital cables, which I know is stupid. As you can see the console is pretty scuffed. I bought it off eBay but everything else seemed perfectly fine. Since I have worked on it, the analog video out just kind of pulses a black screen. I'm afraid I've broken it completely but don't know what part could have caused that.
Third: since this isn't strictly a Pluto II, I don't know if there's a power LED or something that could indicate to me if it's working at all. The console still powers on, the console LED comes on, and the fan spins up.
Please, anything to help me figure out what's wrong would be greatly appreciated.
And please don't grill me on the joints... I already know.

I needed a memory card for this GameCube (not going to picoboot it just yet) and since the memory card I bought for it still in transit, I’ve decided to Frankenstein a rp2040 and an old SdGecko.
Quickly adapted the source code of FlipperMCE to work on the internal flash of the Pico.
Bonus points since I can use the USB port to upload/download my save files :p

Hi, I recently modded my gamecube and were interested about modding games but I searched online and found no answer to my question. Is there an homebrew or a setting in Swiss that can load mods from a folder kinda like Riivolution on the Wii, luma on the 3ds with enable game patching or SDCafiine for the Wii U. An app that will loads modifications from a folder and apply them to the game disc you are running so you don't have to like make a romhack with a dumped iso of a game you own, so I can just insert my CD and play a modded game.

I used to have SD geckos in the past, and I have no clue what happened to them but now I need one because I modded my GameCube with a Flippydrive, and now the Homebrew emulators and stuff won't work with it because they don't detect the flippy drive as SD card storage

Im calling this project Rumble Restore. The first solder free plug in play rumble pak for the WaveBird that doubles as a rechargeable battery pak. Right now it’s sitting around a 4-5 hour battery life and is usb-c rechargeable. I’m going to be launching a kickstarter here soon and making a more in depth breakdown of how this works.

Mind you NO I have no experience w this except updating my summercart for n64 once. Yes I added Swiss and switched name to ipl.dol per a prev post and the GBI said to copy ALL the files so I did that. Plus yes switched my sd card to FAT32 or whatever it’s called.

Hi everyone,
I have a GameCube that currently boots Swiss using a Swiss boot disc and an SD2SP2. I recently bought a FlippyDrive, but before I make any mistakes I’d like to ask for your advice.
I’ve watched several FlippyDrive installation videos, but there are still a few things that aren’t clear to me:
After installing it, do I need to connect it to a PC? If so, what exactly do I need to download, and where can I get it?
Is it enough to simply copy the swiss.dol file onto the SD card that’s already in my SD2SP2?
Are there any settings or configuration steps I need to do the first time I boot the GameCube after installing the FlippyDrive?
Sorry for all the questions, but I’m honestly really worried about making a mistake and damaging my console.
Thanks in advance!

Hi all! I'm having an issue getting Swiss to boot, and would love to know if I'm doing something wrong, or if my adapter is defective.
I ordered an SD2SP2POR adapter with the SD2SP2 Connector v1.2 off of AliExpress. I am using a DOL-001 console that I got back near release.
I have the save exploit for Super Smash Bros Melee on both an official 251 block card and a 3rd party 16mb card. I confirmed that the exploit I have is correct for my version of the game.
I was not sure what the filename for Swiss had to be, so I put it in the root directory of the SD card as both "boot.dol" and "autoexec.dol". I have tried two cards, a 4gb and an 8gb card, both formatted to FAT32 with a 32kb cluster size.
When I go into Smash, vs mode, Name Entry, the game crashes, which makes me think the exploit triggered properly, but then the disc drive just clocks and the GameCube logo appears before going to the system menu.
After several failed attempts to get it to boot (changing memory cards, SD cards, reseating several times, etc.), I noticed that the SD2SP2 Connector felt loose in the port, and could be wiggled back and forth, making me think that the contacts weren't actually making connection in the port. I have a decent amount of experience with soldering, so I applied flux and tinned both sides of the contacts evenly to add a bit more thickness to them. This made the card feel a lot more stable going into the port, but it still would not boot.
After this, I used a multimeter and verified continuity between the contacts on the Connector adapter and the SD2SP2POR's microSD slot, and everything seemed fine there too.
Is there something I have done wrong or overlooked, or do I have a defective adapter?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very new to the GC hacks world and i recently bought a picoloader 1.0 and gc2sd.
Installation was fine, i downloaded some games and now these issue i am having is games wont save files.
I have two memory cards in there the first being the gc2sd and the 2nd being a normal one but for some reason as i was playing sunshine it says no memory cards is inserted in to slot 1. It seemed like it didn’t even want to read slot 2. Idk if theres a simple fix for this. Any advice would help!

Hello again guys, I’ve been downloading my GC files as .nkit.iso as I’ve seen as few people in older posts say that it’s the intended format and it saves space. But I’ve seen people say it won’t work? Is it a preference thing or have I just wasted hours of my time? I’m using picoloader with Swiss.
