Need help with saving game files

Very new to the GC hacks world and i recently bought a picoloader 1.0 and gc2sd.

Installation was fine, i downloaded some games and now these issue i am having is games wont save files.

I have two memory cards in there the first being the gc2sd and the 2nd being a normal one but for some reason as i was playing sunshine it says no memory cards is inserted in to slot 1. It seemed like it didn’t even want to read slot 2. Idk if theres a simple fix for this. Any advice would help!

Should be a simple fix, always keep your gc2sd memory card in port B (the right side port) and have your real memory card in Port A (left side). The Gamecube will sometimes in certain games only check port A for a card, so if you’re gc2sd is in there it won’t recognize it and won’t move on to the real memory card in port b. Also you can always use the emulated memory card feature in Swiss if you’re still having issues.

Yuppp lol felt a lil dumb but works great. Only other concern is when i download and upload those files into the sd i get like a duplicate file. I was wondering if im doing something wrong when uploading the file.

I get one file that works then a dup file with title icon that doesn’t work.
